This was one of those things I never knew existed. Wr had bought all new furniture for our guest bedroom and there were slats to hold a box spring and mattress or just a mattress. I had purchased a hybrid mattress from Bear Mattress Company and was told it needed to be on close slats or the mattress could be ruined. I bought both types of the Meliusly Slatsure products for under this expensive mattress and they don't go side to side - it goes the length of the bed. It was so easy and it was in place within 5 minutes of opening the box. Then I purchased the flat boards they offer and put that on top of the slats which are attached with strong wide stripes of a material that is not easily torn. The end result was the best bed I had ever slept on evem though it was bought for my granddaughters room for when she sleeps here. We have the hybrid posturepeadic mattresses on adjustable frames in our master and I honestly prefer the Bear Mattress on both of the items I purchased to go under the mattress. It Will keep the mattress in new condition and I would recommend their products to anyone who is putting a mattress on slats. With both on the bed is sturdy, protected on the bottom and then I also purchased the Bedsure waterproof mattress covers for all our mattresses and I ca honestly sat nothing gets through them. My husband had surgery and spilled something so I removed the sheets and saw the liquid on top of the bedside protector - threw that in the wash first on a quick cold setting and then did a quick extra drain cycle and then low temp dry and his bed was redone with the Bedsure protector also from Amazon within an hour. I did put clean sheets on and then washed the sheets that had gotten wet. But the Meliusly products are amazing - I am 65 and put them on myself.. They are top quality and i would never just use some slatted bed from anywhere without using both the products I bought. I want the mattress to last and so I make sure to follow what a manufacturer says about their products. I saw the slats were too far apart so I opened my Amazon app and looked for something that would protect the new mattress. I didn't want any lines in the bottom so I also bought the boards to go on top of the slats from them and I am one satisfied customer. They make great products that fit to a T. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and for 200$ for both combined I can be certain that the mattress has what it needs. It was almost too easy and was done in minutes. The packaging was sealed shut so no damage could occur in transit and I could put them on the slatted bedframe myself.

This Full size Bunkie Board hold protects my mattress from the bed frame bars with flat wood planks; polished on top and anti-slip material at the bottom. It doesn’t make noise and most importantly to me, IT FITS PERFECTLY IN MY BEDFRAME (one would imagine it would be a given… but nope! 🤷🏻♀️) This allows me to use mattress stoppers and a bedskirt!! It was very easy to install and it doesn’t have any odor. The wood planks are about half inch thick, which doesn’t noticeably change the height of the bed. The wood appears to be of solid quality. If it is not, it is well imitated! The straps linking the wood planks together are made of heavy duty material. I am very satisfied by this product, especially after being disappointed by a previous purchase that was an oversized full size 😳 and flimsy… The board arrived well protected in a box. It was easy to unbox and to place onto the bed frame. The board is in two parts (two halves of the bed) As advertised it comes with a pair of white gloves for safe handling of the board, and a sleeping mask in grey satin. Now, i’m feeling fancy! 😁

We recently replaced our box springs with this and to be honest it creates a more firm sleep With your mattress. But a lot more support. My wife likes a softer mattress but with my back I need more firm support. This is a keeper. It took her a few nights to adjust but she loves it now. For those looking to update your support without having to purchase a new mattress. Great quality, easy to install and looks great. Value for the price. A accurate description!!

So far, so good. I needed this cuz I bought a new mattress that made my bed w the old box spring mountain high. I got rid of my box spring and my bed frame had only 4 horizontal slats that wouldn’t cut it. Bought this a week ago and it fit my queen size bedframe perfectly. Easy installation without any tools, but carrying all the slats in the box it ships in is quite heavy. In fact, the Amazon delivery truck it came in was the size of a big UHaul truck. I had my sister help me carry it. The slats are very sturdy. I am happy with my purchase one week in. So happy cuz it would’ve been really hard to return if I didn’t like it!

What a great purchase. Sure you could buy cheap slats at IKEA, but don’t. I was really surprised at how high quality these were. Add in: super fast delivery, the fact that it’s a small, family-owned business, and the sweet and thoughtful gift they included with purchase, and you have a winner. Of course, most important is the product. These slats are very substantial ( and quite heavy) and there’s no way they are breaking, slipping or going anywhere except where they’re supposed to. Very, very happy with this purchase, only wish I’d done it sooner. EDIT: I bought this to get rid of my box spring in preparation for buying a new mattress. My first night with the slats was so comfortable I may not even buy the new mattress!

So far so good. We purchased a new mattress that does not require box springs. Bed frame alone could not support mattress and using the new mattress with the existing box springs made the bed almost hip high. This is working but now the bed feels extremely low. I guess we'll get used to it. Good purchase. It's serving its purpose.

My bedframe had substantial voids underneath it that caused my mattress to sag. After buying & using this bunkie board, I've had zero problems, my back aches have disappeared, and I don't have any neck or other joint problems anymore. Highly recommended.

Truly a fan of this brand as of now. The wood is heavy & very sturdy. Comes in two segments for a king size bed & fits just perfectly on the bed foundation. It’s really just unroll & place on the bed foundation & set the mattress on top. That’s it. Super simple & easy. Most challenging part experienced was having to move be hybrid mattress. The grips on the wood bunkie board never moved from the position I put them in. The mattress has yet to slide on the board. Really do enjoy how low profile it is. Short of it is yeah. Order this if you need one & want something sturdy, well designed , allows air flow, and comes with a handwritten note of appreciation.
