an excellent bunkie board. the board comes in two finishd sections . each section unfolds to fit on the top of one half of your box spring. i installed this queen size board on top of a new low-profile metal box spring assembly. the rubber high-friction fabtric on the bottom the board prevents it from sliding or shitfing, once the mattress is placed on top of it. its dimensions are true, and it fits the box spring perfectly. you can hardly see it once the mattress is placed on top of it. it defintiely helped maintain the firmness and support i wanted from my matress by avoiding matress sag between the box spring supports. this bunkie board is made of quality materials and is very durable- so it may possibly outlive your mattress.

It was hard to believe that something so lightweight and low profile was going to work...but yes, it does :-) Other than having to heft the mattress off, putting this on the bed frame was a snap. The silicone dots on the bottom did keep it in place on our frame's wooden slats while we shimmied the mattress back on, so that was a big win. I had my husband hop on the bed while I looked at the underneath, and voila: nice and flat, no mattress sagging between slats. It was also easier to put sheets on since they don't catch on the slats anymore. I thought this was a bit spendy for its construction materials, but it works exactly as described. Oh yeah, absolutely no icky odors right out of the box - yay!

Excellent product, quality and looks. Came in secure packaging. Clear instructions. There’s a grip side that makes everything stay in place. There was no movement while I heaved our purple king mattress on and across it. We’re planning on ordering more for the rest of the beds in the house.

I think the quality of the board is good as well as the ease of using it, but my only complaint, and not really a compliant but maybe more of an expectation, is that the squeakiness of the bed is not removed. I know that was only part of it and it basically is to save the mattress, but it also said that it would quiet the sound. Otherwise, it's an overall good product.

OKAY HEY HELLO LISTEN TO ME, I HAVE BEEN ON A GRUELING MATTRESS JOURNEY FOR NIGH 7 YEARS NOW. WE HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL MATTRESSES IN THIS TIME. NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK. THEY DON'T MAKE MATTRESSES LIKE THEY USED TO, OF THAT I'M CERTAIN. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE, NO DOUBT. WELL, PART OF THE PROBLEM MAY BE POOR QUALITY, BUT I NOW BELIEVE ANOTHER PART OF THE PROBLEM IS POOR SUPPORT. THAT IS, POOR BEDFRAME SUPPORT. YOU SEE, WE USED THE TYPICAL CHEAP WIRE BEDFRAME INITIALLY. NO MATTRESS SEEMED TO LAST MORE THAN A YEAR OR TWO BEFORE TERRIBLE SAGGING AND BACK PAIN ENSUED. THEN I STARTED TO THINK MAYBE THE PROBLEM WAS OUR BEDFRAME MORE THAN THE MATTRESSES WE WERE GETTING. SO WE GOT A BEDFRAME WITH WOOD SLATS WITH SMALL GAPS. A SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT, BUT THEY STILL HAD FLEX TO THEM AND SPACES IN BETWEEN, AND IT JUST SEEMED LIKE OUR MATTRESSES STARTED TO SAG A LITTLE AFTER PLOPPING THEM ON THERE. WELL, I THOUGHT IT'S BETTER THAN WHAT I HAVE - SO I BOUGHT A BUNKIE BOARD THEN WITH LENGTHWISE WOOD SLATS AND LAID IT CROSS-HATCHED TO THE BEDFRAME SLATS. IT SEEMED LIKE A SENSIBLE SOLUTION. AND I DO THINK IT HELPED SOME! BUT...IT STILL SEEMED INADEQUATE. AFTER ALL, THERE WERE STILL SPACES BETWEEN THE TWO SETS OF SLATS, SPACE FOR THE MATTRESS TO SINK INTO OVER TIME AND COMPROMISE THE SUPPORT. YOU MUST HAVE PROPER SUPPORT IN YOUR MATTRESS OR YOU WILL DIE. SO...WE GOT A NEW MATTRESS RECENTLY, IDK I LOST COUNT, MAYBE OUR 8TH OR SOMETHING. AND INITIALLY IT WAS VERY NICE - SUPPORTIVE, FIRM, GOOD FOAM TOPLAYER AND SO ON. BUT...WITHIN WEEKS I FELT AS IF MY SIDE WAS BEGINNING TO KIND OF SAG. HOW!??!?!??! CONFOUND IT, I SAID NO MORE - LET'S LOOK ON AMAZON AGAIN, JUST FOR KICKS, AND SEE IF THERE BE ANY NEW BUNKIE BOARDS I CAN LOOK INTO. AND MY FRIENDS, THAT IS HOW I HAPPENED 'PON THE MELIUSLY HEAVY DUTY 10MM BUNKIE BOARD KING SIZE (76X80") PATENT PENDING LOW PROFILE BED BOARD DESIGN - BREATHABLE, NOISE MINIMIZING, MOISTURE RESISTANT BUNKIEBOARDS, LOW PROFILE BED SUPPORT. IT HAS GRIPPY GRIPS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE TO PREVENT SLIDING AROUND ON YOUR BEDFRAME - INGENIUS MOVE, MELIUSLY. I recently purchased a platform bed for my new memory foam mattress and while it fits just fine, I was concerned about the metal bars doing damage to the mattress. So, I decided to invest in a bunkie board to help protect my investment. Let me tell you, this Meliusly brand bunkie board is definitely top shelf and I cannot imagine there is anything better on the market. Definitely 10 STARS! The board is very sturdy, totally noise free, no obnoxious orders, comes well packaged in 2 parts that fit your bed perfectly. The side that faces the metal bars has a texture to it that keeps the board from any movement. One thing that is definitely worth mentioning it is made in the USA and in my back yard! This board is worth every single cent I paid for it. It also came with a very nice thank you note from the manufacture along with an email address should you encounter any problems or have any questions. Extremely satisfied with my purchase.
