This scooter is SOLID! The frame does not flex at all when I'm (200lbs) standing on it. As a result, the scooter is a bit heavy which is probably why it's targeted towards adults. Acceleration is quick and I was able to get up to 10mph. I'm sure it will be faster with someone lighter on it. Setting up the scooter was simple, it was almost completely assembled in the box! I only had to attach the handlebar before pulling the scooter out. The battery was partially charged as well, allowing me to test it out prior to charging it. I bought the MEGAWHEELS Electric Scooter mainly to use while walking my dogs, and I have to say it’s been a great purchase. I have a basset hound and an American bully, and neither of them are built for speed. This scooter is perfect because I can cruise at a slow walking pace of about 3–4 mph, which keeps them comfortable, but I also have the option to go faster, up to around 11 mph, if we decide to pick up the pace. It feels stable and smooth, and the solid tires give me peace of mind since I don’t have to worry about flats. The portability is another big plus. I live in the suburbs so I take the train to work in downtown Chicago, and it’s light enough for me to carry when needed. The range is more than enough for my daily use, and the speed is just right for sidewalks and busy areas. I don’t feel like I’m endangering anyone while still getting where I need to go quickly. For short commutes, casual rides, or walking the dogs, this scooter has been an excellent fit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for something practical, safe, and fun. I'm thinking of also getting one for my son that goes to high school, I'd prefer him to be safe but he wants the one that goes super fast so we are still debating. ... show more

My wife wanted to buy a scooter for a while now and we weren’t sure which one to get. This one turned out pretty good after testing it for about a month. It’s very easy to setup and fold it when not in use. The good thing about this is that you can use the app to adjust how fast you want to go. If you care about safety you can select the max speed for it. It drives well and it’s very stable. In terms of weight, it might be a bit heavy for some due to the nature of the device. For my first buy it could be a nice a device but for me my throttle sticks in the go position even if your not touching the scooter maybe it my bad luck or faulty device it had thrown off my 9yrs old daughter twice and that a hazard

I’ve been using this electric scooter for a little over a weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. It arrived well-packaged and was super easy to assemble — just unfolded it, tightened a couple of screws, and it was ready to go. The ride is smooth, even over small bumps, thanks to the decent suspension and solid tires. The motor is powerful enough to handle slight inclines, and it reaches speeds of up to 25 km/h (about 15 mph) easily. I’m really happy with my scooter! It’s super easy to ride and feels very sturdy and smooth on the road. The battery lasts much longer than I expected, and it charges pretty quickly too.
