This product works well. It is quiet and does a great job. I have no issues with it and have used it over 20 times in past 45 days. The interior light helps to see the dryness of products within. The trays are great and easy to clean. All around great product. The preset temps are a little off from what I am used to but I have had no issues with it. Whe. You first get it you need to do a break in cook. There is an odor in the machine that needs to be cooked out. I have been using this machine to do fruits and vegetables so far, and I’ve used it pretty much every day with no issues! Definitely have to watch to make sure your product is not trying too quickly or underdone, and if so, I’ve just added on more time if needed. Only had it about a month or so now, so if I have any issues, I’ll definitely update. Very quiet machine and runs on its own as well as turns off after your time you put in so there’s no worrying about it being overdone more than you want it to. I bought it during Amazon prime days for way cheaper ($119) than it is now, so maybe wait till the holiday season specials for the price to go down. The normal price after the specials were over was at $159 and now It’s now showing at $20 more. ... show more

This machine is amazing. We’ve made burger jerky multiple times. It does a very good job. I got this on a good sale so it is worth the money!

I was excited to order this dehydrator. That was short lived. It does have preprogramed setting. If you want to raise the temperature it only increases by increments of eight degrees. The temperatures on the preprogram items do not match the standard temperatures on most dehydrators or the temps recommended in most books. It gives general temps in the book that comes with it. For example, it lists all vegetable at 122degrees and all fruits at 167 degrees. The standards that I have found list most fruits and vegetables at 130 degrees. Also, I have not found any trays for liquids that will fit this dehydrator. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to try it until after my return time was out. No I do not recommend. This could have been great but the outside of this product gets absurdly hot. Not great for a countertop appliance.
