I just recieved this today and it is straight forward easy to use. It has a light up digital display that is easy to read. I love the bottle opener and hanger on the back allowing me to hang it on a hook in my kitchen and able to be taken anywhere. Definitely a performance upgrade from the old thermometer I had because this one is so versatile for all types of meats and dishes. I also love that they sent me an extra battery so that way I will be able to use it for a very long time. I know that we will get a lot of use out of it when we go camping I'll be able to pack it with my cooking supplies and take it anywhere we go.

My store-bought thermometer broke when I washed it, so decided to check if there are waterproof ones online. Stumbled upon this and it looked promising. The display is easy to read since it has a backlight, which helps for my aging eyes. Another plus for me is the probe folds into the main body so no need to worry about loosing a probe cover. It also has a built-in bottle opener, so perfect for bbq. It is a little big which might be a dealbreaker to some, but it’s pretty ergonomic for my average sized hands. Buttons are easy to press and large enough to see/feel. So far, it hasn’t failed me yet and is a good value.

Typically, I used a "stay-in" thermometer, but I was grilling two pieces of port loin with varying sizes. I knew one in-place thermometer would not work and used this instead. Marvelous! It helped me decide when to pull one loin off grill which was much sooner than the larger one. Quick temp read and to see screen - very pleased with product. Going forward will definitely be using this thermometer when preparing multiple pieces/varying sized food. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this thermo. It is easy to use and read. It turns on once you open it and off when you close it. That is a great feature. It also has the temps on the face of the thermo so you know what you should be at. The fact that it is instant read is perfect when you are reaching over a hot grill, hot stove or oven, This is a great thermo overall!

This is a very nice thermometer. Feel well made. I had another similar meat thermometer previously and the probe was flimsy and the overall feel was cheap. This is something I am realizing just now, after I have received and handled this new one. Judging from the many reviews and the build quality I am sure it will last me years and years and years, which is really what I was looking for given that most of these thermometers essentially do the same thing. I have also compared it with a high precision medical thermometer and at least in the lower temperatures (medical thermometer won't go as high) this one was 100% accurate!
