And the chopper fins themselves are kind of stiff, but won't scratch your pan. This gives it an added benefit of chopping easily and evenly, especially with five fins. After the first use ordered a second one. (Why?? every time something is good they ruin it in the name of improvement!) This chopper does a good job with little effort. The handle is designed in a way you can grip it comfortably. The "blades" are sharp enough to do the job, (now this is my opinion) you not going to cut yourself. It is easy to clean. I put mine in the dishwasher.

I finally bought a meat chopper and this is a must have in the kitchen! It was trying to pick out a good one first and I had no idea what I was looking for really on the pros and cons, but jackpot....this one is great! Very thick, durable and comfortable to the hand. The handle is rubber padded and rounded for a more comfortable fit for the palm of the hand. Also, the edges of the cutting blades are tapered on the ends for a quicker cut.
