For folks that like mid-century design, the chair sleeper hits the mark. Material quality is nicely textured and construction seems durable. Leg and hardware are reasonably robust and wood quality is great. Assembly was easy. As others as mentioned, the mattress portion is quite firm, so count on a separate topper for bed-like comfort. This also isn't the most ergonomically ideal chair for sitting so extra pillows might help. Someone else mentioned an off-gassing smell, but I got none of that... completely odorless. This chair will work for me. It's basically an extra sleeping option when friends and family come over. Otherwise, I have a feeling my border collie will find it a pleasant place to stay when I'm not around. ;-) ... show more

Stylish looking, comfy not too hard not too soft just right, high quality. Unfolds and folds very smoothly and so easy, lightweight yet sturdy. Great piece of furniture in any room. Sits low close to the ground which is expected. Highly recommended.

I received this in a timely matter. Very easy for my husband and I to put together(definitely need two people in my opinion). Fabric seems to be durable. Gave it 4 stars because I got this for when my grandkids come to visit and they said its not very comfortable to lay on. Sitting is fine, but its pretty firm. I may try putting an "egg crate" type foam pad on it to help. Twin size sheet fits pretty well on it to protect it when they sleep. Looks nice in our office. ... show more

My office has a bit of an MCM vibe and I needed someplace to nap that didn't scream sleeper chair. This is perfect: a good-looking piece of furniture, the right height for sitting at the table in meetings, and easy to quickly transform to a nap spot and back. I've been eyeing it for a year and finally took the plunge, and I'm very happy I did. Comfort: Comfortable to sit in. I've only napped on it for maybe an hour max, but although it's firm it was not unpleasantly hard. A foam pad might be in order for a full night's sleep if you prefer softer mattresses. Assembly: Putting it together took me maybe half an hour working alone, counting unboxing and cleanup. There are a lot of screws to putting the legs in, and for each leg one of the screws is at an awkward angle, but it was honestly fine. I didn't have any significant trouble with misplaced holes or fabric. Appearance: It looks as good as the pictures suggest. If you like the MCM look, it's a really good fit. Someone described it as handsome and I agree. The pale upholstery may eventually need spot cleaning. ... show more

Good looking and very comfortable as chair, chaise, and futon. Futon is firm but has been good for my back during naps and long reading sessions. Easy to assemble and quite sturdy. The price was much better than that of similar items, too. I would mention that there’s initially a bit of smell from off-gassing, as often happens with new upholstered goods these days. That dissipates, though, especially if you can keep a window open for a while sometimes nearby. The fabric is a bit loosely woven, too, if you have pets who claw furniture, so you might want to throw a coverlet over it when you’re not around. This has been a perfect addition in out space. I love being able to lay out and read by the window or open it up for quest. I wouldn’t say this is the most comfortable unless you like a firm mattress. You can easily fold a duvet and place it on top for guest. We do plan to order a second one in a few months. It’s great to have if you have nieces and nephews visiting who love their own bed and you don’t have the extra space. We have no issues with the quality and found it easy to put together. ... show more
