Fits great in our tiny space. The design is clever, the bin and shiny lid are all plastic and a little cheap looking, would love this with nicer materials. If, like me, you like to have a bag in your trash bin you'll need to get creative (I use a paper bag that I fold down to fit). There is a weight in the lid that is required for the lid to snap closed -- the adhesive wasn't holding it in weight in place so it kept falling into the trash and was nearly tossed out. It's pretty easy to miss. A bit of superglue fixed that and there have been no issues since. When you first get this trash bin you may want to pull out the weight and supergluing it back into place. ... show more

I get that it’s a bathroom trash can, but this is like 60% of the size of a typical no-lid plastic one you’d find in a college dorm or something. Don’t expect to throw anything other than makeup wipes in there- it couldn’t even fit the box my moisturizer came in. A good modern shape. Material is on the flimsy side but not a deal breaker for the size and function. The counter weight that’s attached to the underside of the lid with double-sided adhesive tape has fallen off a couple of times in the first week. It's very cute, and a perfect space saver for small bathrooms! My only issues with it are the fact that the rose gold on the lid is already fading after a month of regular use and wiping down with Lysol wipes, and it's impossible to hide a garbage bag inside.

    • Swinging lid doesn’t swing

Bin is as shown, however since the swinging lid is so wide and is not raised, when the bin is lined with a bag the swinging lid gets stuck on the bag and doesn’t swing open and closed easily. I’d go with a more traditional shaped swinging lid bin next time over this one for ease of use.
