This is a beautiful pot, lighter than what I’m normally used to. The shipping box was undamaged, but the inside of the pot had chips on the enamel. I am wondering to return or to replace this pot. It’s a beautiful design and would look lovely in any kitchen.

Love this! I have been on the hunt for a larger Dutch oven, so this 6 qt has got it going on!! I sautéed chicken & peppers in evoo for the first cook, and made chicken verde chili in it. It's so huge!!!🥳I can't wait to double my recipes!!!! It looks absolutely lovely sitting on my stove, and it washed up in a breeze. I haven't tried it in my oven yet, however, I'll probably continue to use my 4 qt iron Dutch in the oven, and this gorgeous piece on the stove. The price point is crazy reasonable for the quality & size of this piece! For sure recommended, I am absolutely getting another for a housewarming gift!!!

I love the flowers on the side of this pot. I was expecting a heavier dish, possibly cast-iron. This is a light-weight metal pot. 1. I would not use any metal utensil in this pot. I fear it would scratch the enamel 2. I would not cook anything likely to stick to the bottom. 3. This would be great for stews and soups, where you prep everything in another pan. 4. I like that you can put take this from the stove straight into the oven. 5. I also like that this is dishwasher safe. 6. 6 quarts is big enough for a typical family! This would be perfect for serving a special meal at a dinner party.

A dutch oven is thick walled and has a tight fitting lid - this one has neither. It doesn't hold the heat in a long time as a true dutch oven would and I won't even try setting this on top of a fire. This is fine as a stovetop pot and appears it'll work with a indiction top, which should be its real selling point.
