We are very happy with this gazebo. It fits both our grill and griddle turned side ways for protection from the rain. We just simply roll out the one we aren’t using to allow more space for cooking. We were concerned that it wouldn’t be sturdy enough to handle wind but we just had a pretty bad storm and it still looks perfect. My husband put it together by himself with no problems, he said it was super easy to assemble. We love the shelves on the side and the bottle opener, those are a very handy feature. Awesome value for the price! $120 purchase price for me. Fairly simple to install. I was able to complete the entire thing solo in about an hour. Just needed help to place it in the final spot. Instructions I felt were a bit lacking but I was able to figure it out. Like other reviews the top was pretty tight to put on. But if you press in the button on the arms and allow them to go in farther than they are supposed to, you can easily put on the top, then pull the arms back into position. You'll know what I mean once you get to this step. Stability is so-so. It's pretty light weight so if this is a more permanent install, get weight anchors that you can fill with sand. There are plenty on Amazon and usually available at your hardware store. It's sturdy enough I wouldn't worry about after being weighted down. The light it comes with is pretty pointless. I'll use it more in the garage than for actual light whole cooking at night. I'll be picking up a set of solar string lights I would recommend this to friends looking to spend minimal money for some shade while cooking. Seeing that more permanent solutions run near and over $1,000 I'll buy this instead. ... show more

This is a nice canopy with a few extra touches that are nice to have. We had a fairly strong wind and rain storm yesterday and it survived just fine except for the little "bonus" light - the magnet is tiny and the light fell off and came completely apart but should be salvageable. We have the canopy feet screwed into the deck boards. It definitely needs two people to stretch the canopy over the frame. Not sure how long the pockets will hold up since there's a bit of pressure on them. We will take it down for the winter. Our only disappointment is our grill deck is 4 x 8' so the 5 x 8' canopy seemed like a perfect fit. Well, the 5 x 8 measurement is tip to tip of the canopy fabric only, the frame size is smaller and looks a bit too small on our grill deck. But if yours is out in the open it probably won't matter. UPDATE: There has been considerable fading of the canopy top. In just a few months it has gone from a nice forest green to a somewhat yellowish green. The funny thing is it is uniformly faded, not just the part that is in the sun the most, but the whole thing. Certainly doesn't affect function but definitely the looks of it. ... show more

We needed a small gazebo to shelter our two small dogs from rain and hawks while they are out doing their business and this seemed to be a perfect solution. We use an 8 Section fold up gate to keep them secure under it. It’s been working out perfectly - with even enough room for one of us to stand under it too- but the only issue is (and it would be an issue with any gazebo or umbrella) is that there was a small storm that came through and it blew it over and bent one of the corners and the topper got torn up a bit (within minutes!) so I had to order a topper just after 45 days of owning this. Thankfully the replacement topper was on a daily deal and we got it for $21. Now we have the gazebo turkey tied down X3 at each leg to some heavy duty stakes and it won’t budge. My husband assembled a majority of it alone and had a little help with the topper pulling it in one side while attaching the other. We also strung some solar lights across the top and it looks so cute at night! ... show more

Purchased this canopy to create a grilling station on my back deck. It was relatively easy to assemble & I was generally pleased for several months. A few months ago we had some overnight rain & the canopy started sagging on one side. Now it sags with even a slight rain as it all collects in the low spot. Multiple reviewers seem to have similar issues so there is certainly a pattern. I really wish I had opted for another brand with better reviews. Don't make the same mistake i did... buy something else. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This looks nice and it’s big enough for a grill. It’s on the flimsy side, but sturdy enough for a longer term temporary grill shelter. Overall, I still would’ve been happy at this point for the price. However, we are not even through our first summer using it and are already having issues with the canvas cover. Whenever it rains, the water doesn’t run off one side for some reason. Instead the water collects on the top, and then weighs down the cover, creating a well in the canvas inside the frame instead of running off the edge like it’s supposed to. We’re constantly having to tip the cover to drain the water off the top. This is not realistic since we cant always get to it in time. We now have a permanent well in the cover from where it’s constantly being weighed down and stretched due to the weight of the water. The canvas is permanently stretched, perpetuating a cycle by filling up with water from here on out. That cover is ruined since we will always have this problem now. Without a cover, the whole thing is useless. It didn’t even make it one summer. Update: The company reached out on their own after my review, I guess. They offered to send me a new cover which they did. I think their customer service was excellent. I haven’t used the new cover yet. It’s at the end of season so I just rode out the bowing one and constantly tipped the water off. I’ve taken the old one down for the winter and threw it out. I would do this anyways to preserve it longer. I’ll start the new cover next year. I also updated my review stars to reflect their great customer service, the fact I got a new cover, and hoping it was just a glitch in my old cover. ... show more
