  • A most buy for most riders!!!!
Color: Black
If you just started indoor cycling or you are only going to ride a few hours a week this is a good bike at a great price point, BUY IT NOW!!! I have doing indoor cycling for 6 years. Sitting to ride five to six days a week with or without an instructor. I'm so addicted to indoor cycling, when I travel for business or vacations my shoes are the first to go into the luggage and I'm looking for a bike to clip in. So serious spinners like myself you may want to consider another bike or make some the following modifications I made to this bike. 1. Purchase Venzo Fitness Shimano Exercise SPD Compatible Spin Bike Pedals because real spinners clip in. 2. I replaced the seat. The seat that comes on the bike bounces like crazy and I've grown accustom to the hard rigid seats on commercial gym bikes. So I replaced it BLUEWIND Bike Seat, Most Comfortable Bicycle Seat Memory Foam Waterproof Bicycle Saddle. 3. Ten mins into my first ride I had to remove the handle bars and drill another hole to raise the handle bars higher so I wouldn't hit my knees when I came out the saddle because I could not vertically adjust the handle bars. BTW I'm 5'11" tall. The only reason why I wouldn't recommend this bike for serious spinners is the inability to horizontally adjust the handle bars. With that said for the price point and for as hard as I ride I am extremely happy with my purchase. The bike is extremely sturdy when you come out of the saddle and pretty quite. Since I purchase this bike I have ridden it HARD an average of two hours a day. If this bike can last me one year, I hit the lotto. If it last six months I received a good return on my investment. But as I stated before if you are novice or you going to ride few days a week for 30 mins to hour. BUY IT NOW!!!!! ... show more

  • Only a Few Negatives
Color: Black
I will be pointing out the negatives for this product first since there is only two to be mentioned. First, the most obvious and complained about is the seat. It is a very hard and tough material which causes discomfort fairly fast. It will make your bottom very sore for a few hours which some people might not feel it but for the most part I did. Lastly, the bicycle tends to become off balance the more it is used. What I mean by that is the more usage it acquires the more the bottom legs will shift. It's not a giant complain just inconvenient for those who just want to use it rather then adjusting constantly. Also, there is a loud noise from the machine. This does not bother me since it's more of a noise that shows me I'm doing work. The positives are much more overwhelming and must be aware by every person "considering" purchasing this. The material is heavy and durable. I have yet to make a scratch or dent, I'm sure a scratch wouldn't be too hard to acquire. The peddles are durable and doesn't cause any slip up. The handle bar is very comfortable and is very easy to grab thanks to multiple parts to grab on to. It took me a couple of hours to put together by myself which is nice. The instructions are straight forward, not giving you the clearest examples but just enough to make this review keep a star. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to workout by themselves or a surprise to a love one starting the new year out strong. ... show more

  • An honest spin bike that gives you what you need
Color: Black
My HIGHLY ANTICIPATED spin bike has arrived (a full business day ahead of schedule no less).... the box arrives and is heavy and bulky (as expected). Once out of the box the install goes together without much fuss and is pretty intuitive. The most difficult aspect we’re the install for the pedals. That was as tiring as a spin class in itself, but I had remembered that I had a bike pedal tool in the garage. These can be had for $10-20, possibly even cheaper. For this job it would have easily paid for itself. If you have the tool use it, if not consider getting one from your LBS. as for the bike... I didn’t go into this expecting it to be on par with a Peloton bike with all the bells and whistles. That said it is exactly what I was looking for which is a easy to use, gets the job done bike that is very ascetically pleasing to look at. I feel this is a good middle of the road bike and a value for the price. My only complaint/ wish is that I wish it had some type of electronics or mode select options but for the price again it does what I need it to. This is what I’d consider a gateway spin bike in that you can buy with nothing to base the purchase on and if spin/ cycling turns out not to be your thing your investment is minimal, however, if you go head over hills and fully embrace the spin lifestyle go out and get that Peloton or like bike and have at it. The stickers look like happy hour possibly started mid shift as some of the lettering are not quite symmetrical. Not an issue to me though. Great bike! Post ride update: please do yourself the favor of swapping the seat. No kidding this is the worst saddle I’ve ever had under my rear. You could skip installing the seat and just plop down on the seat post and though I doubt you’d find it more comfortable, it undoubtedly wouldn’t be worse. It literally is like sitting on a fire hydrant. ... show more

  • Distance between pedals "Q-factor" is far too wide.
Color: Black
Returned immediately. There were two geometry-related problems that made it unrideable. The first is the q-factor (the distance between the pedals) on this bike is over 20cm (8in). It felt like I was straddling a kitchen table. For reference, a normal road bike is 15-16cm (6in). A wide q-factor can cause hip and knee problems because the leg cannot center over the foot while riding. The second is the seat would not raise up high enough. I'm 5'10", (i.e. not that tall) so I was very surprised this was an issue. The materials and build quality were fairly decent considering the budget-friendly price, and the return was very easy. However, I don't recommend unless you have wide hips and are shorter than ~5'8". ... show more
