I've been dealing with upper and lower back pain for 4 years. I stretched every day and started sitting in a proper office chair, but my upper back especially would hurt as each day progressed. I figured maybe my back was weak and that gaining strength (for real, not some lackluster exercises with a physical therapist or a gym membership I won't use). To my surprise, the pain was 85% gone after day 1 (wait before the muscles had a chance to grow stronger). I force myself to use this thing several times per day and now my back pain is 98% resolved. I've now also added a band instead of only using my body weight Maybe a traditional Roman chair would have been the more obvious choice but I went this this instead. It's working and I'm also strengthening my hamstrings. I wouldn't complain if my flutes grew as well. The equipment is solid too. I don't regret picking this over the slightly cheaper GHR from Marcy I would have bought this a year ago had I realized it was available for only a hundred dollars. It works so well that it would have been worth the cost at $500, but I'm thankful I didn't need to spend that much ... show more

This is a pretty well made product for the money. Easy to assemble. I'm 6'5, 290, and felt safe and stable using the product. My only issue is, at my height, I can only use the leg pads in the highest position. Other positions are very awkward and uncomfortable, due to the pads being higher on my legs, and not behind the ankles. ... show more

The hip pad was not well protected in the box. It was only covered with plastic. While cutting off the plastic ties around the box, my knife barely cut through the exterior of the box. The knife also cut the hip pad. I should have used scissors. Just be careful. Other than being damaged, the item works fine. It’s a little shorter than I thought. Easy to put together. I'm 5'3" and 136 lbs so it's a good size for me. The padded part you lay your body across is tilted and hurts my pelvic bone really bad. I also slide backwards with every rep. For the price it's decent. I am scared because of some of the negative reviews regarding the part that holds your leg potentially coming off, but it seems sturdy as I have the product in front of me.
