I had one front mower tubeless front wheel that I couldn't inflate and found this Marathon replacement with a solid tire. I ordered two which were delivered in two days. They were "used" tires from the warehouse. When I received them, they were not used at all and fit perfectly on my mower. These wheels had a zerk fitting for grease (which i did before installing) and rubber bearing protectors on both sides of the axle housing. The only harder ride was when I traveled on the driveway; I didn't notice any difference on grass. I'm very pleased with the quality, price and delivery of these wheels. Great job - Marathon and Amazon.

the tire is. a bit too wide for the forks of the mower. I used an expander tool to widen the forks to get the tire on. I will only put one on now to see how it fairs. I suspect the additional pressure is on the bearings will wear them out quickly, we'll see—more reports to come. I have to admit, I didn't measure the size of the wheel hub when I ordered. I went on the advice of other buyers.I asked about the application to my toro mower and several buyers said it did indeed fit properly. But, it didn't. I'm changing the overall rating to 5 stars because of my mistake. The wheels do look like they are made well and the bearings inside the rim are a definite upgrade from the original bushing style. So, be sure to measure your wheel hub for length and bearing size before ordering. I'm now ordering the proper size and see if that will make a difference in mounting the wheel and tire to the yoke.

I don’t know why anyone would post bad results about these tires an wheels unless they installed them incorrectly? Hey have the same style bearings that are on the original wheels. They have a spacer in the wheel to prevent the bearings from collapsing inward as do the original wheels. They installed very easy. They track the same as pneumatic tires with treads on dry grass, (I do not mow in wet conditions). Make sure that you use a functioning self locking nut on your axle a most important, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE NUT!!

I purchased these solid tire wheels in July 2020 for my girlfriend's Scag Liberty Z mower because her inflatable Scag front tires kept going flat. I did not get around to replacing her Scag inflatable tires with these new solid tires until late May 2021. The product was easy to install, however, the solid tire wheels lacked axle guide tubes (the internal bearing spacer) that were present on the original Scag wheels. The mower operated normally for approximately 5 hours before bearing failure compromised one of the solid tire wheels (it collapsed inward). The product solid tires operated well, however, the wheel bearings are much less durable than I would expect. I plan to take these defective wheels to a local machine shop and have the old wheel bearings pressed out. I will update this review when I have the new bearings installed on the wheels, including internal bearing spacers, and the solid tire wheels reattached to the Scag mower. Update 06/16/21: I went to the Marathon Industries website and made a complaint regarding the bearing problem. Within a day, I was immediately contacted by "Jill" in sales who was professional, thoughtful and helpful. Jill offered to send me 4 new bearings for the wheels. At this point I am awaiting the new bearings and will update this review when they arrive and are installed. However, I feel Jill and Marathon have backed their product and I am happy with the outcome. Update 07/17/21: As promised, Jill at Marathon sent four new wheel bearings and they arrived yesterday (there was a delayed delivery due to mailing address misunderstanding). I have not installed the bearings yet, however, I plan to install them soon. I will update this review in the future to indicate the new bearing and bearing spacer performance. Thanks to Jill and Marathon Industries for their professional, timely and helpful customer service!

if you are buying these wheels for a gravley. remove the old front wheel, check to see if there is a wheel spacer in your wheel, it should just push out with maybe a little convincing, mine had some rust on one end. if so order the wheels with the 3/4 inch bearings. move the spacer to the new wheels, i needed to use a little sand paper to remove some rust, put the wheel in where it goes put the bolt through and voila you are done. these wheels are working very nicely, and they will never go flat!!!!!! ride is maybe a little rougher but not much. NO FLATS wins. GRAVELY MODEL 915148

Both tires were “USED”! One tire came in a Marathon box, had scuffing on the flat part of the tire and was missing a black, plastic bearing cover on one side. The other tire came wrapped in two plastic bags marked “Ready to Ship”, had scuffing on the flat part of the tire and scuffing on one sidewall. Fortunately, I was replacing old Marathon Tires and was able to use a bearing cover off an old tire to replace the missing bearing cover. When I purchase something sold as “NEW” I expect to receive “NEW” and not “USED”. I mounted them anyway, instead of returning them, because my old tires were worn out and had to be replaced. I’m very disappointed with this purchase because I didn’t receive what I paid for.
