Love this mower. Light weight, easily adjustable & easy to push. Quiet, battery is good for doing my yard which is on the small side. However battery quickly recharges so might have to do part in the AM, recharge, finish in afternoon.

We have a small lake house and I wanted something I could store in the house when not in use since it has no garage. I thought I'd try battery powered as I didn't feel comfortable storing gas in the house. I've had this a couple of months now and can report it is working great! I will tell you the one flaw which is if it hits any bumps in the yard, the battery can pop loose. At first, I debated returning the unit as defective but think maybe it is a safety to prevent damage to the blade. Now that I've used it many times, I realize that limitation and am just careful when I go over bumps and it is not a problem. If your yard is very rough with a lot of rocky areas, this might be a problem for you but if you have a normal yard, it will not be a problem. The mower runs about 20-30mins on a charge. It has two speeds so if the grass is really long and it has to bump up to high speed, the run time will be about 20mins. On normal speed, you will get 30mins. IT is enough time for me to mow the yard when running normal speed but if I procrastinate and let the grass get long where it is always running in high speed, it isn't quite enough to mow it all. Our yard is about 60 feet wide so on the smallish side. Mower cuts grass really neatly btw. No gas and the charging is super simple as well. Works like the dewalt chargers if you are familiar with those. The mower does have folding handle which is nice since I store it inside after each use. I like the large wheels as they make it easy to roll up and down the stairs to the house. Adjustment for cut height is also a simple one handle deal but Ieave it on the same cut height every time so no issue there. Can't think of anything else to say other than I really like it. A second battery would be smart if you have a large yard as battery charging takes a couple hours. I am very happy with the purchase so far. ... show more

Preliminary Evaluation 1. Sturdy cardboard shipping carton arrived essentially intact; - the side adjacent front of mower slightly crushed, possibly due to carton being dropped. 2. Battery and charger were separately bubble-wrapped and packed loose in shipping carton atop the mower. 3. Bare Side Discharge Chute also packed loose in shipping carton atop the mower. 4. Separate Upper and Lower Handles secured together at factory with nylon cable ties (two); - however one tie was broken due to either rough handling in transit or due to the carton being dropped. 5. Mower and handles removed, apparently undamaged, from carton and relatively easily assembled. Mower manufactured in Vietnam and seems to be well made and of good quality material. 6. Battery arrived slightly charged (one LED illuminating) and undamaged. Battery installed onto charger and was fully charged (did not measure charge time) in approximately two hours. Charger shuts off when battery is fully charged (4 LEDs illuminated), 7. Thus far three cycles of battery run time (also unmeasured) is less than one hour but (probably not much) more than 30 minutes. 8. Battery shuts down when charge is too low. I.E. when the mower stops running, none of the (4) LEDs illuminate; - at which time battery is too warm (not hot) to be immediately re-charged by the charger. Running the mower until it stops (battery exhausted) did not create any battery recharging issues. 9. Mowing was good both with the Side Discharge Chute installed (taller grass) and without (mulching). NOTE: The mower blade is attached to a plastic impeller (fan?) device that is attached to the electric motor shaft. (See Pix). ... show more

Buyer Beware-Lesson Learned: We purchased this via Amazon Resale, which apparently only gets a 90 day warranty, versus the typical 2 year warranty. Battery only worked about a dozen times, then stopped. The difference between the Resale price and New price doesn't offset the cost of a new battery. Not worth the hassle or cost. My only opportunity to call customer service is during my work hours. Three calls total, all between 30-40 minutes. Please note that a significant amount of time on EACH call was because the staff was VERY SLOW, required multiple repeats, and constantly put me on hold. Very, very, very frustrating. Each time they added a new thing that I had to go find (I'm at work, not home): first it was the mower serial/model, second it was having to have the charger with me to trouble shoot, third call they had lost everything from the first two times and it all had to be done again. And what did we get after all this effort: ZERO. Warranty had run out. So, no more Amazon Resale because Amazon's resale product is crap and no more Greenworks because all the above. Neither are worth this much money, effort, and frustration. ... show more
