I'm a fan of Maples Rugs. US company, great colors and designs. I love that they are rubber backed. I dont need or want thick plush heavy carpeting everywhere. I actually prefer a thin rug, but that comes at the cost of needing a separate backer to keep them in place. I had stumbled upon a Maples Rug several years ago that was large enough to use as an area rug and had good rubber backing. I loved it, and I still have it, but recently I retired it as my mood for something else came up (now I use it outside). I didnt replace it with another Maples, if only because I didnt see the color/pattern I wanted. But I imagine at some point I will. Then there are other areas of the house where I have smaller Maples Rugs- in front of doors, etc. I have probably 6 rugs of assorted sizes from this brand. I just like it, a lot. Yes, they are thin, light, but that rubber backing is where it is at for me. If you need thick, plush, then seek elsewhere. I totally understand. These may not be for everyone because of the lightweight factor. On the plus side, no matter the size, they fold up or roll up easily for storage. When I decided to get a new little rug for my step dad, I immediately set out to look at Maples Rugs. He had a rubber backed rug that was falling apart and no longer had any grip on his ceramic floor. I bought this as a Christmas gift and he began using it immediately. I can toe it a little and it moves, so not sure if it is a matter of the rubber not being as grippy as my others, or it is simply the flooring that it is on. He has it in a cold spot of the house on a slick ceramic floor. Basically in a breezeway between kitchen and heading out to the garage. But it does slide around, and is way better than what he had. One note on vacuuming. I find that using the non beater bar option (like a floor option) is better than the carpet option. These are short knap, and the beater bar could eventually pull up on the fibers. Best to shake out the rugs and then vacuum floor, or just gently go over the rug itself. Can be washed in washer no problem.

I needed a runner long enough to fit across the length of my sofa and chair. I really like the colors in the pattern and the size keeps the pattern from being too busy. My automatic floor vacuum tends to get stuck at times on the edges or it flips up a corner. This needs better backing to help it stick in place on hardwood floors. My pups like that it keeps them from sliding on my flooring.

I ordered this and it was slightly too small for the room and the colors were not as I expected so I started a return. The only place I could return it to without having to pay was UPS store so that's what I did. I get there and was informed that I'm supposed to package this 5'x7 ft rug That came to me in a plastic bag that could not be opened without being destroyed. Long story short I spent a long time at the UPS store and $4 out of pocket before I could finally get this area rug out of my possession! The rug was okay it just didn't work for me but due to the issues returning, I can't recommend.

I have had these rugs for 3 years. Still look like new and don’t show the dirt. I can vacuum but don’t get to close to the edges. They are in my kitchen and entry. Only runner I found that was 2’6” and not 2 feet wide. For the money it’s a bargain.

Bought 3 sizes of this rug. Just wanted to bring in a bit of new color and do I love the pattern of these. I bought 5x7 for under my new kitchen table when it arrives in couple of weeks. These rugs are thin, not what I call soft but perfect to protect floors from winter slush and muck. I have vacuumed them but not washed yet. I suspect backing will start to peel once I do wash but time will tell abd for the price I'll be okay if that happens. I plan on HANG TO DRY. They do NOT SLIP at all on my wood and tile floors which is important in any rug.

Recently my husband and I purchased a patio home, we laid LVT Throughout our home and we had not plan to cover them with throws because the floor is beautiful but, it is on a slab and I enjoy walking in my bare feet and guess what I discovered it is too cold for that, so I decided to purchase a couple of area rugs I read reviews on several different sites and found the reviews on Maple rugs were good so I decided to purchase, I received them and I love these rugs. They stay where you lay them, they are beautiful and vibrant colors, they are not plush but they are well made. I started out purchasing three rugs and now I’ve purchased three more. I’ve received so many compliments, and they honestly make a room feel warm and inviting. We are still working on pulling the place together so I will try to show pics later once we are done. But we are very pleased with our choice and we will probably purchase two larger rugs for the couch and kitchen table area.

I was very excited to find rugs made in the USA at an affordable price. I bought several initially to replace around the house. I really like them! I've ordered 6 so far and if they hold up under traffic and dogs over time, I'll order a big one for the living room.

I have wall to wall carpeting and there is a spot where it has ridden up. This runner covers that spot perfectly. I haven't had it long enough to judge how easy it is to clean, suffice it to say that the carpeting under it has never been cleaned......
