Color: Blue Angel

Features

  • Perfectly Pastel - The MANIC PANIC Creamtone Collection delivers soft and dreamy pastel hair dye shades with less pigment than our vivid hair color dyes, giving a softer look. Blue Angel is a light sky blue shade with cool undertones.
  • Fight the Fade - This pastel temporary hair color provides fun, commitment-free color that gradually fades over 2-4 weeks because it does not penetrate the cortex of hair, but simply rests on top of the hair shaft.
  • Best Results on Pre-Lightened Hair - This semi permanent hair dye works best to color hair that is a pre-lightened level 9 or 10 blonde. Use our Flash Lightning Bleach Kit to lighten hair before dyeing for best results.
  • Conditioning and Resealable Formula - This semi-permanent hair color not only adds vibrant pastel tones but also deeply conditions hair, leaving it soft, hydrated, and smooth. The resealable tub allows for multiple uses.
  • The Manic Manifesto - Manic Panic's hair coloring products are always Cruelty Free and Vegan - tested on celebrities, not animals! This vegan hair color is also ammonia and PPD-free, gluten-free, phthalate-free, and PETA accredited.

  • Not exact colour
The media could not be loaded. I honestly really like how this came out, tho it wasn't the pastel I was imagining! I think what's really important to keep in mind is the bleaching- the way your colour comes out all depends on how light your hair is first. I was a little sloppy with my bleaching, so I ended up with uneven colour, but that's certainly user error. It's also why some places didn't take as well, as you'll see in the video. I'm actually pretty certain the hair on the back of my head didn't get as light as the front, since I couldn't see it as well, so I'm surprised that it turned out paler than the front of my head! I completely drenched my hair in the cream, all over the head, and slept in it for about 8 hours. When I washed it out in the morning, no colour came out with the water. Hope this helps! (Last picture is the level I bleached too, albeit wet- forgot to take a dry picture) ... show more

  • Best at-home dye I've ever tried (in combination with Manic Panic's bleach kit)
I used this product in combination with the Manic Panic....lightning-something hair bleach. I've never bleached my hair at home before but Manic Panic's bleach was super easy to use and I saw my hair starting to lighten before I finished coating my hair (which took no time at all considering I have a buzzcut, and my hair is incredibly short. Because my hair is very short, the bleach took only 10 minutes to lighten my dirty blonde/light brown hair to a bleached blonde, and rinsed out smoothly.) I split dyed my hair using this blue and one of Manic Panic's pastel pink colors and it came out way better than I expected; and the hair dye smelled somewhat of store bought slime? But not at all chemical-y. In the past I've mostly only used Xmondo hair dye which is typically 28 dollars per container (which I would say is like 1.5x the size of these Manic Panic dyes without checking the oz because I'm lazy) and it worked fine? but the directions were misleading causing me to waste dye by washing it out too soon. Manic Panic on the other hand? I bleached my hair with their hair bleaching kit without issue, dyed my hair with two of their colors, let it sit for 30 minutes, and washed it out. However.... None of the dye went down the drain. In those 30 minutes, the dye secured so strongly to my hair that when I went to wash the excess out- there was none of that nasty bright pink or blue streaks running down my arms, or staining my tub, the dye foamed up slightly when I rubbed it out of my scalp with warm water and rinsed off as cleanly as soap- leaving no trace of color on the white tub or my shoulders (the only color that rubbed off on me was a very faint blue hue on my fingertips from scrubbing excess out of my hair, but that faded within an hour, and did not happen with the pink). The dye did not bleed together while I washed my hair and the dye did not rub off on the light grey towel i used to dry my head. If I could give this 100 stars, I would. ... show more

  • Easy to use but doesn't last
The color turned out exactly as we thought (a little greenish on unbleached dirty blonde hair). Was super easy to put on but faded to a weird color after only a few days and one wash with color safe sulfate free shampoo. 4 days later the color is almost gone. Ran all over the place when it got wet.

  • Too much work for meh results
I stripped dye out of my hair and let it "rest", then applied this product. Having read the reviews I knew to leave it in hella long. I wrapped my head in Saran wrap for heat then watched tv for TWO HOURS. Despite this patches of that weird orange color you get from stripping are still visible. The color came out a blue black. I hope it will lighten in time. The color is not even despite my combing it through to saturate every inch. Would not recommend. ... show more

  • Didn’t work for me
This product did not work. I have bleached blond hair (it’s basically white) and it turned my hair green for 2 days and then when I showered it all washed away. Very disappointed and a huge waste of money. I tried to request a refund but was to late

  • Love it!
Make sure your hair is bleached prior! My hair is short and I need 2 jars to do a touch up which I do about 3 weeks ish. Don't wash it for 2 days after and if you do wash it COLD water! Make sure if you comb through the product through your hair so it is applied evenly. Put vaseline around your hairline on your face on and your ears! I had left it on for about 2 hours - this was the touch-up. Just remember pastels fade quickly but the color is great. ***Update this color is easy to maintain make sure you have enough jars, I put it on thick so I go through 2.5 and now also my hair is longer. Note that once your roots grow out they will not take the color like the rest of your hair. That part will need to be bleached (not real bleach) either have a salon do it or get Manic Panic's bleach and as always follow the directions! :-) ... show more

  • A bit bolder and darker than I had expected.
My husband applied it with a brush to my dry hair, which had also been highlighted and had traces of pink left in it. The result was MUCH darker and bold than what they show on line. I’m sure it will get there once it’s washed a few times. Overall, I am happy with the product.
