Tints of nature purple took about 3/10 on dry hair it appeared to not color the copper I have fully and because of splat purple that i used the week before at 4.5/10 because it colored closer to this manic panic did today but once I washed out the splat it didn't take to the copper I had at all. Hair colorist know copper is a sign of bad history of hair bleach dye and it's not eas to cover, manic panic was so far the darkest on dry hair so I'm sure the result once it washes will be 5/10 or higher. I can update . I have lunar tides comes in Monday for any issue with manic panic just as a backup ... show more

I didn’t want to bleach my hair as I previously colored with henna, and I was looking for a deeper color anyway. This worked perfectly. The first picture shows my medium brown hair that had been colored reddish brown with the henna. The second picture is after using the wine colored manic panic. For the best color retention, I like to leave the dye in for at least an hour. This is perfectly fine to do since there are no lightening agents in manic panic or other ingredients that are impacted by time. It created hot pink highlights on my grays and a deep purple-pink on the rest of my hair. It was very easy to apply by myself, and has held up to numerous warm showers so far. A little goes a long way, as I’ll get two applications on my whole head with this short hair, so the value is great. As with all manic panic I’ve used, it bleeds when washing and also sometimes when dry on the first few nights after it’s done. As a precaution, you can use dark towels always after washing, and use a pillow case you don’t mind staining until you wash your hair a few times. I’ve been using manic panic for probably about 15 years now and have never been disappointed. The colors are fun, vibrant, and tend to last. ... show more

This stuff is the worst for me it nearly ruined my hair I had to go to my wonderful hair dresser who happens to be a great colorist & she was amazed at how hard it was to get this out of my hair so finally she got my blond back , it not a temporary color it like paint in same kinda spray can !!😱

As you can see from the image, my hair is mid length. I have grown out my roots and just the bottom half is bleached. This product is by far my favorite. The formula not only gives me good coverage but it doesn’t stain me the same way other products do. It will also not transfer to your pillow! The jar has enough product to color my hair twice and lasts about a month and a half before I have to add more color. The deepness of the color is literally exactly what I have been looking for! I always struggle trying to find a good red hair dye that doesn't fade and turn pinkish but since I discovered this product, I haven't been able to get enough of it! There have been a few times I tried other brands but nothing even compares when it comes to Manic Panic Vampire Red!
