    • Super Happy With This!
Style: Pixi Mini Pattern Name: Tripod
After buying a series of tripods that were cheap and immediately fell apart I bought this after watching a youtube video. I am impressed, the quality is strong and feels like it will last a long time. I REALLY LOVE the mechanism for moving around the head of the tripod so you can change the angle of the camera. Its smart and easy, very user friendly. I also like how I can use it almost as a selfie stick, the ergonomics of the tripod in my hand feel really good (not huge hands FYI). Overall I am really happy with the cost compared to what I got. Avoid the cheap ones, buy something that will last. On a side note- if you buy the i-phone attachment make sure to buy the more expensive one that can do landscape and portrait mode. Made that mistake. I'm happy with the attachment, but wish I had known. ... show more

    • Well worth the money!
Style: Black Tripod Kit with Universal Smartpho... Pattern Name: Tripod Kit
After replacing the cell phone adapter for one w a larger jaw, and giving the ball mount time to loosen up, this is an absolutely outstanding tripod for its size! With clean lines, it feels solid in the hand, it looks sharp and paired well with the larger adapter I located. I couldn't be happier with it! r/boom ... show more

    • Great Tripod, Especially For Traveling
Style: Pixi Mini Pattern Name: Tripod
Don't judge this tripod by its size! It's very sturdy and packs neatly in your suitcase when traveling. The base is extremely adjustable so you can move it easily to suit your needs. When folded, the tripod also can function as a selfie-stick, albeit a short one.

    • before moving the ball head get a sharpie and trace a line around the top
Style: Pixi Mini Pattern Name: Tripod
This handle is ergonomically comfortable. the tripod is sturdy and well made and feels like it wouldn’t slip on wet surfaces. drawing the line as mentioned in the headline will give you a visual to set the ball head back to it's original position. I will say this is great for horizontal recording but you will need an L bracket or some quarter inch screw hole to mount the camera or other device to orient the way you want to. Out side of that it is a very great handle for go pros, mirrorless and even my old Rebel T6i DSLR. ... show more

    • You can bank on the Manfrotto brand
Style: Pixi Mini Pattern Name: Tripod
I picked this PIXI mini tripod out of all the look alikes, many selling for much less than this. This is because I've been happy with Manfrotto tripods and monopod for 20+ years. They have never let me down. This little "toy" also didn't disappoint. It is sturdy and solid...it is slightly heavier than it looks but I don't want something like tripods to be flimsy and unsteady. I know the product photos showed small/mini cameras, but I wanted to see how sturdy this is by mounting my Nikon with 500mm zoom lens. I wasn't surprised that it didn't tip over from the long lens. I think it could even hold longer/heavier lens if I aligned the lens with one of the legs...but that's another discussion. Overall, it is a solid unit. When you fold the legs it forms a nice shape to hold it in your hand. The weight of the unit actually provide a nice counter-balance with small cameras/iPhone to help you steady...but the same weight will also keep you from holding it for a prolonged time, which I don't think it merits a deduction in my rating. If I wanted a steady-cam, I would buy that instead. The build quality is a typical Manfrotto. Unless you abuse this, it should last long and you'll probably do not have to worry about replacing it. Finally, I ordered this with matching smartphone holder (pro version) mount which I will review in that product page after little more use. ... show more
