If that's not enough for excellent customer service, please know that I ordered the tripod kit on Saturday night, May 26, 2018, which was during the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend. On Monday, May 28, Memorial Day, the United States Postal Service delivered the tripod kit at 2:56 PM, Pacific Time. Great Job! I have owned this tripod for over six years and it NEVER disappoints. It looks like it would cost 2-3 times as much based on the quality and durability of this amazing tripod. Pros & Cons: Pros: - It is a very solid tripod and made with very high quality. - The height of this tripod makes it my #1 for multi-camera video shoots. I can have it very high and tilted down for my talking head video shoots. - The bag is so nice and very durable as well. - The pan/tilt head has so many options. Cons: - The only con is the tilt/pan head is still pretty stiff to move. It’s a great very inexpensive tripod.

Just get it. This has more features, stability, functionality, and versatility than any other video tripod system at this price point. My application is digiscoping and I will 100% back this product. Be wary that it is rather tall/long, so if you are flying with it, check the restrictions on size for luggage. Very good system.

If you have realistic expectations for the price point, this is a very good video tripod. The fluid head that comes with it is actually really nice. It has very smooth tilt action and long handle that attaches securely to the head to control the motion. Panning is not as smooth as video heads from expensive brands, though just a medium grade fluid head from those brands typically cost multiple times the price of this tripod + head. It's ok for my use, but if I needed really smooth panning action, I might try spraying the pan disc with a small amount of teflon spray. The tripod itself is solid and is very steady when you extend only one section of the legs, which is typically how I would use it. If you extend both sets of leg sections, it is not nearly as stable, but still much less shakier than video tripods that look similar but require three sets of leg extensions to reach the same height. The tubes in the legs are aluminum, but the joints and knobs are plastic, so it is obviously not designed for heavy daily use. And you have to be gentle with the knobs that set the legs in place. Integrated leveling bowl is a very useful feature for a video tripod with fluid head. It came with a surprisingly high quality padded tripod case and an extra quick release plate as well as allen wrenches. Overall, it is a good choice for an amateur videographer with a rig in the 2-6 pound rage. Even though it is rated for 13.2lbs, I wouldn't feel comfortable putting such a heavy rig on this tripod.

Executive Summary: This is a sturdy, well-made tripod/fluid head for an amazing low price. I needed a video tripod to film a music recital for my daughter-in-law. It was to be held in a mid-size auditorium in Washington, DC. I used my Fuji X-H1 with my Canon EF 70-200 lens. The Cayer performed great, easily supporting my rig and providing a rock-solid image. I selected the Cayer because it uses a ball base, which makes fine tuning the level very easy. The ball base worked well, making setup quick and easy. The legs are sturdy and the locks are strong. The fluid head is nice and smooth and the pan and tilt lock work great. The plate is large and balancing the camera on the head was easy. When I filmed, I was at medium to long telephoto and the movements were smooth. Be aware that the pan is not as smooth as the tilt. If you are looking for an inexpensive solution that can stand light to moderate use, this fits the bill. Based on my prior experience with television and motion picture cameras, mostly using Miller heads, I don't think this would stand up to hard or heavy use. Still it is well worth the price.
