I just got myself this Victiv 74" Camera Tripod, man; it's way nothing close to what I will have expected. The material to be used is excellent, simply because it can be lightweight with great robustness, thus easier to carry anywhere. Feels great for both the DSLR and my cell phone. Extremely versatile—that adjustable height is a bloody game-changer when trying to capture a shot pretty much from any angle really. It's quick to set up, completely hassle-free, and very stable, even on the most uneven of surfaces. I would highly recommend this tripod for anyone looking for a highly reliable yet very affordable solution for photography and videography. Five stars all the way!

I've had a film degree since 2021 and I've worked with plenty of name brand tripods - mainyl Manfrotto - both when in school and on work projects. I personally had a SUNPAK one - a brand you can get anywhere from Best Buy to B&H, and while it was fine, it tumbled once and shattered. Now, this tripod was in the same price range, but advertising aluminum and "heavy duty," I thought I'd put it through some paces. The "aluminum" part is just the legs. Which is exactly what most of these will be, rarely will metal be anywhere else. The unfortunate part is these are very, very thin. It's a get what you pay for deal - yeah, they're using metal, but not a lot of it. The latches and knobs all feel okay, not great. Nothing wound super well, but usable nonetheless. The takeway here is you shouldn't buy this for any heavy duty use. It's fine for at home use, casual YouTube, yknow? But anything outdoors, anything with wind, this tripod and your 20x more pricier camera and 10x as pricey lens are shattered. So keep that in mind. It's perfectly usable, just... you could put the $30 towards a better tripod.

Great quality, tremendous value for the money. Is it as good as a top-flight tripod? No. But it's a small fraction of the price for 95% of the function on most days. Also very easy and quick to pack and unpack and set up.

I had this item in my cart for quite a spell and the price would fluctuate. I would advise to buy when it’s cheap. It’s a fine unit and has good value. I use it as a mount for my dart board and to take pictures. It’s strong and sturdy.

Well, for openers, I wouldn't exactly consider this tripod to be "Heavy Duty" as stated in the description. It is, however, sturdy enough for me to be comfortable using it with my cameras, including my Nikon P1000, which is a beast, weighing in at just over 3 lbs. without having to worry that it will collapse or blow over in a breeze. I should point out, that when using it with the Nikon, I also use a tripod mount support adapter for weight balance as I do on any other tripod. What it is, is a nicely made, good looking, lightweight and compact tripod suitable for hiking or travel. All functions, like pan and tilt, work well and smoothly and when locked into position, I haven't notice any drift which I consider to be important. It also has a conveniently built in collapsible carry handle, and comes with a nice soft carry case, a smart phone adapter, and an extra mounting plate which I thought was a nice touch and which allows me to change cameras without changing the mounting plate. If something changes in the future, I'll update this review, but, for now, I'm really pleased with it and would definitely buy it again. Oh, and did I say it was good looking too?
