  • This thing is seriously awesome! This thing is seriously awesome!
As someone who lives alone and works 50+ hours a week, keeping up with house and yard maintenance can be a bit daunting. I recently purchased a house that has about 1/3 of an acre that is just lawn, last year I bought a walk behind mower because I needed something quick and didn’t have the funding ready to buy a larger rider or zero turn. After mowing like that for a year, I decided I needed to save up and get something a little bigger, but with the price of a riding mower or zero turn being almost double what this robot mower is it was a no-brainer, so I decided to give it a try. After watching tons of YouTube reviews about various different brands of mowers, the general consensus was that Mammotion is the best option when it came to cut quality, features and battery life. Assembly and set up was very easy, only a few screws for the front bumper and side skid guards was all it took to assemble the mower unit. The charging station was almost just as fast, all I had to do was pop the rain cover in place and plug it in. Since my unit is one of the 1500 series Luba’s, it did not Include an RTK module, so I did not have to mount/set up that. From there you just have to let it charge fully before mapping your lawn(s). Mapping was incredibly easy within the app, it guides you step-by-step to make sure everything is done correctly, and my model (the 1500H) can store up to 15 different lawns. I was a little worried that my robot was going to have issues with getting lost since it does not use a RTK reference base station, and my property is surrounded by very tall trees. The unit itself has a RTK sensor built-in, but luckily I did not have any issues with it getting lost thanks to the AI vision and Lidar sensors as a backup. The cut quality is surprisingly good! I was a little worried that buying the smallest model of the Luba 3 series might have effected the quality of the cut since it has lower wattage cutting motors, but since I have mostly thinner tall fescue grass, it seems to work fine! Being all-wheel-drive, it is incredibly stable, no matter what kind of terrain you have. My back lawn is fairly bumpy, to the point where I started thinking that it was actually going to end up, damaging my walk behind mower. The suspension on this unit actually works surprisingly well, watching the live video feed (which is super cool!) in the app from the mower while it is mowing seems fairly stable. Overall, this thing is a great bang for the buck, considering you will easily spend this amount of money within a year or two by having a professional lawn service come mow your lawn for you (I showed my lawn care buddies and they were honestly worried). I think about the only issue I have had so far isn’t really an issue per-say, but more of a software/firmware upgrade suggestion for Mammotion - please make it so that when the unit is traveling from one lawn to another that it randomizes the path that it takes between each lawn. This one seems to keep using the same path to get from my back lawn to my front, no matter how I draw the path from one to the other. If you mow every day or every other day, I can see this thing eventually wearing a couple of path/tire marks along where drives to get to the next area since it is quite heavy. That being said, I really do enjoy my backyard looking sharp! ... show more

  • AWD 1500H — Absolutely Worth the Wait
Size: Mowing 0.37 Acre Style: High Version
After waiting three years to finally pull the trigger on the Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD 1500H, I can confidently say it was worth every minute of patience. This mower is nothing short of amazing, and my yard has never looked better. The LUBA handles my thick, dense grass effortlessly, never bogging down or leaving uneven patches. What really blows me away is how perfectly straight its mowing lines are—better than anything I could ever achieve pushing a mower myself. Now I can sit back, sip my morning coffee, and watch it work with precision. The ease of use is outstanding. Setup is straightforward, the interface is intuitive, and the app makes everything simple to control and monitor. Even if you’re not tech‑savvy, you’ll have no trouble getting the hang of it. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You’ll stop worrying about mowing in the heat, dealing with grass clippings, or creating ruts in the yard. The LUBA 3 AWD 1500H has completely changed how I maintain my lawn, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about it. This is one purchase I wish I'd made sooner. My neighbor's all want one now! ... show more

  • No more push mower for me
Size: Mowing 0.37 Acre+garage Style: High Version
I’ve had the Mammotion Luba 3 for about a month now and have used it a couple of times so far. Setup was straightforward using the Bluetooth connection, and mapping the yard was easier than I expected. I did notice the Bluetooth connection dropped occasionally during setup, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t affect the overall experience. So far, I’m very satisfied with the performance. The cutting quality is excellent, and the lawn looks clean and tu Lu can even see the mowers cut pattern. I also really like that you can adjust the cutting height remotely through the app. Another nice feature is the onboard sensing, which automatically adjusts based on terrain conditions—it gives some peace of mind that it’s not just blindly mowing. It does a pretty good job getting tighter to corners and along the property line compared to a traditional riding lawnmower. That said, you’ll still need to use an edge trimmer periodically to keep everything perfectly clean. It has also navigated my yard without any issues—over the two times I’ve used it so far, it hasn’t gotten stuck at all and has shown great obstacle avoidance. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and looking forward to using it more regularly. ... show more

  • Great mower overall! Some improvements could be made.
Size: Mowing 0.75 Acre Style: High Version
So far, I really like the LUBA 3. I get a consistent mow and I have the schedule setup for random angles so the yard always has a nice pattern to it. It is nice to set it and forget it. I would ‘love’ to see someone integrate with onX mapping to just know your external yard boundaries. The machine seems well build and it came with an extra set of blades. I did go to their site and add on the garage just to give it some extra protection in case of hail, etc. It will recognize rain and stop mowing or not mow if it is raining. Overall, I love it and my spring allergies love it even more. There are definitely things I wish were better: First, I really don’t like having the RTK, but I know most mowers use that. They did just recently announce the iNavi service which is RTK free. The email stated is available in my are, but the coverage map only shows Europe. I will a have to attempt to use that soon and it may eliminate my need for the RTK. Second, I wish it could get closer to the edge. I know that I have to trim anyway, but along fences and landscaping, I wish it could do a closer cut. Third, and probably my biggest gripe, is I had to turn off the obstacle avoidance. If the grass is a little tall, it will trigger it and not mow it. It still avoids things, but that is by bumping into them, then backing up and going around. It needs to handle this better. It took me a few days of it not mowing, trying re-mapping, etc and doing some googling to figure out it was ‘avoiding’ the taller piece of grass. Last, I ordered a size bigger than I ‘needed.’ I have a little under a third of an acre, so I bought the ¾ acre version thinking it would be able to mow the whole yard in one shot. It does not. Maybe if I had it set on a loop instead of angles it would, but that was a little disappointing. ... show more

  • Great purchase! Awesome robot!
Size: Mowing 0.75 Acre+garage Style: High Version
The Mammotion LUBA 3 is my first robotic mower. It came with everything needed to set it up. I had run the power for the lawn mower along the side of my house’s foundation. Then I had found a spot for the rtk station. In the box with the assembly components, there were some spikes that you could use to hold the cabling in place. This just helped neaten up the cabling a bit. Set up was really easy, although I have to admit that I have to move the rtk station a little further out from the house. I know it’s not needed, but since it came with the Mammotion, why not use it? The Mammotion app walked you through the initial setup of the devices and next steps. Mapping the property was pretty easy, although I now wish I had broken my yard up into sections. The Luba 3 tends to bounce around between the different sections of my yard. I think breaking the property up a bit may help the Luba 3 stay on task and may improve mowing times. Also, my yard had quite a bit of small sticks and debri that had not picked up yet. The Luba 3 would seem to get a bit temper mental at times when it encountered debris in the yard. After cleaning everything up though, this is a really cool mower that does a good job and the best thing is….I do not have to mow! The seller was really good to deal with. As they have kept me in the loop as to when other components were getting delivered and themower came earlier than originally stated. ... show more

  • Great Mower, Simple Tech, Size is a hard limitation not a suggestion Great Mower, Simple Tech, Size is a hard limitation not a suggestion
Size: Mowing 1.25 Acres Style: High Version
I've used this mower for about a month now. Originally had it setup on RTK, and have recently changed to iNavi. Both options have the same result (at least in my area) so your setup is likely personal preference only. Extremely easy setup in either case. Prior to purchase, one major detail that wasnt all that clear to me is that the mower is limited to the area its rated for, not by time but by physical memory in the machine to mow the rated area. For example, if it's a 1.25 acre machine it can literally only mow to a max of 1.25 acres. You cannot setup different areas and have it mow 3 acres and simply take longer to do it. Contrary to that thought, the machine can literally only save the data/map for an area up to 1.25 acres. You can save or map 20 different areas or more, but they can't add up to more than what the machine is rated for. If you go over that amount, another machine is needed. Long story short, buy the machine thats slightly bigger than the area you have. Definitely do not buy less thinking you can run it longer, etc. 0.3 acre buy the 0.5acre unit, etc. As for the mowing, it's flawless. I have a large lawn by most standards, about 2.2 acres. I have two mower (as discovered in setup). The tech and satellite coverage have been incredible. No issues whatsoever. Nearly perfect lines, and saves me a couple hours every week. The machine is.constantly learning your yard so little things continue to get better, specifically the edges/perimeter. The first couple of weeks there were numerous spots on the perimeter where the machine avoided for some reason. It's gotten better, but I doubt it'll be perfect ever in that regard. My lawn work went from 2-3 hours a week to 10-15min of weed whacking so I'll take it. If you're thinking about it, but hesitant that this is something that's actually viable, do it. It's truly awesome. ... show more

  • Great Hardware, Disappointing Software Great Hardware, Disappointing Software
Size: Mowing 0.37 Acre Style: High Version
I purchased the LUBA 3 AWD with high expectations, especially given the marketing around AI-powered navigation and autonomous mowing. After using it extensively, my experience is mixed. The hardware itself is impressive. On large, simple, rectangular lawns with clear boundaries, the mower performs very well. It has good traction, solid build quality, and can handle basic mowing tasks reliably. However, the software and navigation algorithms are where the product falls short. If your lawn is even moderately complicated—with curved edges, narrow curb strips, slight slopes, bumps, islands, or irregular shapes—the mowing quality drops significantly. Coverage becomes inconsistent, and the mower often struggles to efficiently cover all areas. The curb strip performance is particularly poor. The biggest disappointment is navigation between zones. The mower rigidly follows the exact mapped path instead of intelligently finding the most efficient route through available open space. In many situations, there are obvious shorter paths that a human would choose instantly, yet the mower continues to follow inefficient routes. For a product marketed in the era of AI and smart automation, the navigation feels surprisingly basic and outdated. The software lacks the intelligence and adaptability needed for real-world lawns that are not perfectly shaped. It often feels like the mower is executing fixed instructions rather than dynamically optimizing its movements. In summary: Pros * Excellent hardware and build quality * Strong traction and AWD performance * Works well on large, simple, rectangular lawns Cons * Poor handling of complex lawn layouts * Weak coverage optimization * Struggles with curb strips and irregular edges * Inefficient zone-to-zone navigation * Software does not feel AI-driven or intelligent I believe Mammotion has built capable hardware, but the software needs significant improvement before this product can truly deliver on its promise of autonomous lawn care. ... show more

  • Tesla of Lawn Mowers
Size: Mowing 1.25 Acres Style: High Version
I must say this was very easy to set up. The directions were clear, the box was well packed, and the connection to the RTK antenna was seamless. The app to run the Luba 3 is excellent—well built, intuitive, and clearly well designed. So far, the machine has been very accurate. I’ve already cut two areas of my lawn and have two larger zones scheduled on alternating days. I also didn’t have any issues with Wi-Fi connectivity. It’s quieter than I expected and handles steep slopes much better than anticipated. One thing that could be improved is the explanation around mapping zones. It took some time to understand that zones need to be connected via channels, and how to manage mowing a zone without a channel wasn’t clearly explained in the manual. Another minor con is that occasionally it will turn in tight circles, which could potentially wear down the grass in that spot over time. That said, it’s a small tradeoff considering the amount of time this machine saves by automatically maintaining the lawn. One tip: make sure to prep your lawn before using it—remove stones, mulch chips, and small branches. While it can avoid larger obstacles, smaller debris can wear down the blades faster. Overall, I’m very impressed and would definitely recommend it. ... show more
