We had just gotten traumatized by Worx and their Landroid robot mower. It never finished setup, never mowed a blade of grass for us. The Worx Company never once reached out with assistance after a week of going nowhere. Boxed it up for a refund. The Luba3 AWD is the opposite experience. Assembly was minor, packaging is well thought out, options with the RTK system are plenty. The machine was installed, updated, mapped and mowing in about three hours. Pro-tip: Install your local-RTK unit in your attic if you wish to use it. It sees nearly eighty satellites with GOOD reception in our house. The Luba 3 AWD does not require the local unit as you can alternately choose to use their iNavi system. The 'free' garage made the difference for me to purchase from Amazon. It looks nice and is well-made. This unit and the Segway are the two mowers offering cutting edge features and performance. I was swayed by the smaller size, Lidar unit & reported better cut with the Mammotion machine. Highly recommended!

The Mammotion LUBA 3 is my first robotic mower. It came with everything needed to set it up. I had run the power for the lawn mower along the side of my house’s foundation. Then I had found a spot for the rtk station. In the box with the assembly components, there were some spikes that you could use to hold the cabling in place. This just helped neaten up the cabling a bit. Set up was really easy, although I have to admit that I have to move the rtk station a little further out from the house. I know it’s not needed, but since it came with the Mammotion, why not use it? The Mammotion app walked you through the initial setup of the devices and next steps. Mapping the property was pretty easy, although I now wish I had broken my yard up into sections. The Luba 3 tends to bounce around between the different sections of my yard. I think breaking the property up a bit may help the Luba 3 stay on task and may improve mowing times. Also, my yard had quite a bit of small sticks and debri that had not picked up yet. The Luba 3 would seem to get a bit temper mental at times when it encountered debris in the yard. After cleaning everything up though, this is a really cool mower that does a good job and the best thing is….I do not have to mow! The seller was really good to deal with. As they have kept me in the loop as to when other components were getting delivered and themower came earlier than originally stated.

I was initially considering returning the LUBA 3 3000H because I felt the coverage area per battery charge was poor. After 4 weeks of ownership, reviewing multiple mowing reports, and performing my own testing, I ultimately decided to keep it. My property is approximately 0.42 acres across multiple zones. The biggest advantage of this mower is the automation. I was recently out of the country for several days and was able to monitor the mower remotely while it continued maintaining my lawn with zero human intervention. That alone has been a huge quality-of-life improvement and is ultimately the main reason I decided to keep it. Setup was surprisingly easy. The base station setup took less than 10 minutes, and the one-time mapping process through the app was straightforward. The mower docks and undocks reliably, and the mobile app has been intuitive and stable for my needs. Navigation has been excellent. RTK performance has been stable, the mower has not gotten stuck, and it has handled my multiple zones without any major issues. The AWD system handles my lawn slopes without problems. The mower is also very quiet. One pleasant surprise was the lawn striping effect, which looks better than I expected from a robot mower. One area I spent considerable time evaluating was battery efficiency. Based on the advertised specifications of up to 500 m²/hour mowing efficiency and up to 175 minutes of runtime, I calculated a theoretical coverage of approximately 1,460 m² (15,700 sq ft) per full battery charge under ideal conditions. I reviewed multiple mowing reports and also performed testing in a small, flat area with minimal travel distance. Based on my observations, the mower's real-world battery performance appears to be around 60% of that theoretical coverage under my conditions. While this was lower than my initial expectations, the mower's performance on all other fronts has been consistent and reliable. The mower has largely been a setup-and-forget product for me. After creating schedules for each zone, it has been maintaining the lawn automatically with very little attention required. Pros: • Excellent automation • Reliable navigation and RTK performance • Easy setup and mapping • Quiet operation • AWD handles slopes well • Lawn stripes look surprisingly good • Remote monitoring works well • Able to maintain the lawn with minimal human involvement Cons: • Real-world battery performance appears lower than the advertised coverage figures • Coverage varies significantly depending on lawn layout, turns, travel distance, and mowing conditions • I was unable to find replacement batteries sold by Mammotion. Based on reports from some long-term owners of earlier LUBA models, battery replacement may not be straightforward and appears to require disassembly rather than a simple user swap. This raises concerns about long-term ownership if the battery eventually reaches end-of-life. • Long-term parts availability remains an unknown Overall, I am giving it 4 stars because the convenience is outstanding. While battery performance did not fully meet my initial expectations, the mower has proven reliable and has significantly reduced the time and effort required to maintain my lawn. The ability to have the lawn maintained automatically while I am away from home has been a major benefit.

WIFI connects, but shows "no data" under the ssid name. The RTK connects to the same 2g ssid and works fine. Connected to 2g hot spot from cell phone and it gets the same "no data" message. Something is failing with the WIFI network hardware on the robot. The robot cuts well and the yard looks nice afterward. But robot useless a little over a month(right at the end of the 30 day return) After a factory reset the wifi is still not working, and I can't map the yard or mow now. Very disappointing. Purchased on April 16th, mowed the first time on 4/24. Mowed the lawn 10 times. Wifi stopped working on 6/5. I will update the review after the issue worked out.

I am super impressed by the Luba 3 0.75 acres (AKA RoboGoat). Setup was super simple, the only problem I had is that I installed the bumper without actually connecting the connectors which made for some choice words when it would start up and throw a weird error…..idiot. After fixing my mistake everything worked as advertised. The app can be a little confusing but not bad once you get the hang of it. It took me a while to get the perimeter and the “no go” zones right but once I did, set it and forget it. I have a pretty complicated lawn, zero cell service and tree coverage everywhere so I was worried it would have issues navigating without RTK antenna but to my surprise, no problem at all. It handles everything like a pro. Battery lasts well and cuts my entire lawn in one shot. I was playing with it manually for a while before I set it to run and it ran out of battery….went back to charge and then went and finished the rest. It’s super quiet too which is a huge bonus. If you are worried that you have a complicated lawn….don't, it works great as long as you program it right which to be honest took me a few tries. It’s results are better then when I did it myself. I never have to mow the lawn again!!!!

I love it. Because it can do the really steep parts of the lawn that are too steep to mow with tractor or the hand mower. My choices were to pay about the same amount of money to get ground cover installed on about 1/4 a (which has its own maintenance problems) or buy the robot. The next project is to drive it around all the things in the big yard to reduce the hand trimming, but that is “icing on the cake”. The robot has already justified its cost. The Iphone app is OK but could be improved. Out of the box it requested a firmware update. It needs connection to your high speed WIFI. I bought the three year protection plan just in case. This is amazing NEW tech and as such there is not a lot of maintenance history. From the perspective of a retired engineer everything looks high quality and well crafted. As expected, it uses more battery on hills than flat. This is why I bought the 3000 model instead of the smaller unit.
