The best version, thus far! The gen 2's always annoyed me when they would sometimes accidentally deploy when manipulating the PEWPEW. The new version requires very deliberate pressure on the button which can be covered up by a primary optic! No side tabs to accidentally actuate deployment either!

Really nice backup for my STAG-1 AR in case the red dot goes out. Lines up with the front triangle post sight for co-witness through the red dot when needed. Spring loaded pop-up is a nice feature as well. Two apertures just like a carry handle sight, one for close work and one for precision.

Color: Flat Dark Earth Style: Back Sight
These are Magpul and just like other products they make, these are top quality sights. They come in black or dark flat earth colors depending on what you prefer on your setup. The sights are fully adjustable for wind and elevation and are co-witness with scopes or red dots. Mounting was super simple, just need a flathead or phillips screwdriver to loosen and tighten the piece that goes on the picatinny rail. All plastic but very durable. They hold zero after 3000 rounds so far and seem to be able to handle much more. Great replacement for iron sights or in case of emergency while out in the field. Magpul all the way!! ... show more
