Significantly reduced in size from the MBUS, it sits at just 0.55” high when folded, 1.38” at its widest point, and weighs a scant 30 grams with hardware. Its aesthetics are derived from the MBUS Pro, but the MBUS 3 Rear Sight is constructed of our impact-resistant polymer, making it lightweight and extremely durable. Featuring the same spring-loaded technology as its predecessor, they can be deployed with an ambidextrous push-button. The MBUS 3 Rear Sight sits at standard height when deployed and includes a windage adjustable, rapid-select aperture system. Made in the USA.

    • Strong with sure lock, and non-wavering adjustments

This is a reliable top of the line brand, that is tough, and stable. Contrary to some other reviews, it does fit a picatinny rail, if it is completely loosened and slid on. The release mechanism is very sure, with no accidental popping up.

    • Works well, but tight fit on Pic rail requires some force to install.

Works well. Was very difficult to slide it onto my picatinny rail and required some fairly firm mallet taps to finally get in in place. I was worried that maybe I had damaged it for the amount and force of tapping required, but apparently its ok. Paired with the MBUS 3 front sight on a 15" sight length Tippman M4-22 it worked perfectly. These are better than the stock Tippman sights (also Magpul early gen, I think). ... show more

Color: Olive Drab Green Style: Back Sight
Sights are much slimmer and more compact than previous models. I like the top button to raise sights better than the older side version. I had to tap them a bit with small hammer to get them on. They should stay snug. Front roller is very hard to move to raise front sight post. A little oil and movement back and forth loosens it up. I would prefer a smaller hole for the rear peep sight. The large hole gives you no circle at all and the small hole barely provides enough circle to center the front post in it. But my eyes have gotten used to small precise shots with a small circle system. I trust Magpul, and these sight are a back up to the optic anyway, to be used at close range. I recommend most things Magpul, and these sights do work just fine. ... show more

    • Doesn't fit flush like previous versions

The Mbus 3 rear doesn't lay flush onto the rail. A BCM or Geissele rail . It gaps up a little for some reason unlike All previous versions that sit flush touching the rail so why this version doesn't I dunno . Doesn't effect the performance at all they mount and " 0 " just fine but visually it's just strange they don't lay down touching the rail . ... show more

These go on all my AR style rifles with optics as a quick backup. I also run it by itself on the opticless rifle. They just work and are easy to adjust. They will go on all my rifles.
