Really nice backup for my STAG-1 AR in case the red dot goes out. Lines up with the front triangle post sight for co-witness through the red dot when needed. Spring loaded pop-up is a nice feature as well. Two apertures just like a carry handle sight, one for close work and one for precision.

These are Magpul and just like other products they make, these are top quality sights. They come in black or dark flat earth colors depending on what you prefer on your setup. The sights are fully adjustable for wind and elevation and are co-witness with scopes or red dots. Mounting was super simple, just need a flathead or phillips screwdriver to loosen and tighten the piece that goes on the picatinny rail. All plastic but very durable. They hold zero after 3000 rounds so far and seem to be able to handle much more. Great replacement for iron sights or in case of emergency while out in the field. Magpul all the way!! ... show more

It's a Magpul MBUS - what else is there to say. The standard in backup sights. Third generation is the latest and best of the MBUS backup sights. Polymer, but decent quality. More convenient to operate than the Pro aluminum version.

Really like how compact the gen 3 is. I have a 3x magnifier and wanted to keep some backup sights that could be mounted as far back to the rear as possible and this sight works perfectly. Same great quality that magpul is known for, they work great.
