I have an outside water rower, but had to move in with my daughter, so I replaced the water rower with this, and am very pleased. The oculus cannot be in the sun, so this does not ruin it. I use Holofit, so I can row all over the world. As we get older it is harder to get motivated to exercise. This rower is very smooth, very compact. I leave it out because my grandson loves to play on it, and it truly takes up very littl room. It is easy for me to roll into the closet when I need to. For me, it makes it easier to get moving and to rehab injuries I have caused myself over the years. Very reasonable price, but it is made for “regular” sized people. It handles weight just fine, but if you are over 6 foot, it might not give you range of motion you are looking for. I am very pleased with it. For reference, I am 5”7 and 120 lbs. ... show more

Great for the beginner. Good directions and easy to assemble. If you are a more serious rower you may want to pay more money for a machine. For $60 this is perfect to find out if you like rowing or not.

    • I'm really impressed with this little rowing machine. Hopefully it stands up to use.
I was not expecting much for $60, but this small, compact rower is a steal for sixty bucks. I'm 5-11 tall and weigh around 255 and this thing fits me just fine. The wife likes it too. And I'm guessing it would even work for someone a lot taller than us. If you look at how rowing works, your "travel" back and forth isn't really that far. That's why, after a lot of research, I passed on all the really long rowers. Basically we were looking for the smallest/cheapest rower we could find. Anyway, the quality is good. It was packed very good. And it arrived fast. Everything feels sturdy enough and the roller/seat action is smooth. The easy-to-difficult dial settings are just fine for our needs. Btw, batteries are included, but we are not planning on every putting them in and using the little computer on this rower. We couldn't care less about calories burned or distance rowed or whatever it calculates. We only row to get the upper body moving and to warm up for jumping on our treadmills. We just switch on a half-hour show and row. My only prob so far is that it's a tad low to the ground. I wish it were a foot more off the ground. But sixty bucks man, you can't beat that!!! Anyway, this thing light weight, has wheels when you lift one end, so it's super easy to move around. So it would be perfect for anyone with a small space, like an efficiency apartment, or tiny home, even an RV. Lastly, it's 8-28-25 and I'll come back and update this review If this thing falls apart on us and quickly turns into a piece of junk on us.
