It works great, but slides down when emptying the pellets. It would be perfect if the magnets were strong enough to hold it in place.

The media could not be loaded. The Magnetic Pellet Cleanout Chute for Pellet Smoker is the best one I have tried so far, it's not perfect, but mostly works. As you may see in the video, some pellets miss the chute, but most are directed into the storage can. The magnetic hold grips surprising well, given the heavy duty steel construction and length of the chute. I have tried two other chute designs, this is by far the best so far.

Longer style allows pellets to flow out with less chance to spill. Magnets are sufficient.

Great idea. Very poor execution. I attempted to use this on a Pit Boss vertical electric smoker. The magnets seemed like they WANTED to stick. But with the chute on the smoker, barely touching with my finger caused it to fall off. Zero chance of this thing working. And I'm not about to DIY some magnets on a defective product in an effort to "make" it work.
