Near identical to the original Garmin mounts, this version from Naponal are nicely manufactured for the most part and come complete with multiple metal discs to allow for it to be used in more than one vehicle. Besides the assumed vehicular applications, it can also double as a standalone hook, which is nice should that need arise. It does appear, however, that the magnet could have been adhered a little bit better since a messy glob of adhesive was used in securing it to the hook. Very convenient. Sticks well and makes the camera easy to remove. It has extra magnets so if you get another vehicle, it’s easily installed there.

followed the instructions to the letter. mount held for all of 48 hours. found some 3M circlular stickies at Wal-Mart that have been holding through 100 deg to 25 deg weather.

The adhesive on this mount is awful. I was using this on an adjustable plastic piece for my rear view Garmin Dash Cam Mini and it would not stay stuck no matter what I did. Went through two different adhesives before just cutting out a small piece of a command strip and sticking it on there (worked first time, immediately). No idea why they're cheaping out on adhesives of all things that might cost just a couple of cents more. ... show more
