    • Cute and fun but one use
Style: Water
This is cute and worked as described. However. It is basically a one use item. Once you add the special ingredients and the toy pops out, it’s done. My daughter loves the little toy but there’s nothing else to do with it. It’s just if you want to spend $20 (or more) for a one time toy.

    • Didn't really live up to its hype; the liquid eyes in the sun/moon cauldron's plush didn't work
Having tried some of the mini cauldrons, and also the big electronic toy kits, I was expecting this one to function more like the larger electronic cauldron. The gimmick for this cauldron works exactly like the newer mini cauldrons. So overall the "magic" was a bit disappointing and was over extremely quickly. The figure pops up immediately after you pour the water in, and wasn't as interesting as the other Mixies reveals. Also, I wasn't sure if this is intentional or not, but the liquid in the plush's eyes is only about 1/3 full. When you press the gem in, it's supposed to swirl, but I couldn't really see that effect. Perhaps some of the liquid had evaporated? I received an older release of the Sun/Moon cauldron, with the pamphlet advertising only 2 types of possible plush, with a 3rd "coming soon". The newer releases should have a chance at 1 of 3 different plush. ... show more
