I had Bicep Tendonesis surgery and I wanted to make sure I found something that’ll go around my arm and not be a hard brick like I seen a lot of other ice packs online. You gotta be careful for that. This one does not get hard like a brick otherwise I’d use it for my lunchbox lol but no, it’s soft when you pull it out of the freezer and flexible. I noticed some other reviews on many products say something about condensation ice buildup and you have to realize that when you pull something freezing cold out of the freezer that condensation naturally will build up on it due to the temperature of the product and the temperature of the air in the room. Then when you put it back in the freezer, the condensation will obviously freeze on the exterior - it’s just common sense but it seems like people lack it. Anyway, it’s good gets the job done but unfortunately, I’m a baby and I can’t move my arm much so I just put it on top of it. I don’t wrap it around.

After purchasing two other brands, I quickly got tired of having to take out the ice pack from the sleeve to re-freeze, then have to put it back. Then I found this brand. It doesn't require a sleeve, you just chill and re-use, saving you all of that extra time and effort. Better yet, these packs stay cold a long time. Even though I usually wear a size Large in men's shirts, I bought the Small Size, and it fits just right. I LOVE these!!!

Got this for my disabled sister who broke her arm near her shoulder. It would be difficult to get the elastic Velcro bands in place without assistance. My sister has limited use of her left arm & hand from a stroke at birth, and then she broke her right arm. So she would never be able to use this by herself. The top of shoulder area of the ice pack is very stiff out of the freezer. Massage it or let it sit out a bit before using so that it can be shaped easier. Once in place, it stays put and provides relief. It sweats a lot and will get your shirt damp. I have been putting a thin towel under to absorb most of it. Before it goes back in the freezer, I dry it off best I can so it doesn't form a film of ice for the next use. There may be other products for icing the shoulder, but this one is doing the trick and won't be needed after the shoulder is healed. So we'll keep it and hope we never have to use it again (not because it's a bad product but because we'd like to stay injury free and not have to use it again -- felt I needed to explain that comment).

This product worked but was a little bulky for me. I am small frame. 5’2, 130 lbs, small shoulders. I used it after shoulder surgery. It does stay cold. It has a good strap with Velcro. It is well made. I felt like it was not as flexible as I needed it to be.

I just had shoulder surgery and this is great! However, I waited 10 days to use this and used a regular ice pack instead because this was a bit heavy to put on as soon as the surgery was done. It is a great purchase!!

I have rotator cuff issues, and was sick of trying to use my existing cold packs - I couldn't use them for the whole area. Some of the reviews I have read here are just absurd, it gets too stiff but isn't cold enough, that sort of thing that you know both things can't be true. Neither is true. The people making those statements must be putting it in super cold deep freezes and wearing it over a very heavy wool or flannel shirt. I wear mine over my robe or a regular shirt and the cold still penetrates very well - and it forms to my shoulder with no issues. I thought the ice pack looked cheap from the pictures, but it is very well made. The covering is heavy-duty, the stitching is tight. The hook and loop closures are VERY strong - this won't come undone while you are wearing it.
