The hold with product is excellent. It does flake after 10 hrs, but it doesn't matter by then cause my day is done. If the flaking bothers you, wet your fingertips with water and smooth it out and you're g2g. This product is a strong holder for your hair especially if you have natural curly hair. The thing I do not like about it is that once it is dried it make the hair looks white and sometimes flaky.
