Works great to make smash burgers. I can’t wait to try it for my fajita recipe as I use a copper grill mat currently but it lets the juices drip off the edge. Note that depending on the size of your grill, this may be all you can fit on it. I have a 3 burner and it fits fine but leaves no usable space for anything else. Also, depending on the arrangements of the burners on your grill, you may have to move it around to do the smashing part and you hand will get very hot over a grill on high heat. This is great if you have indoor gas or induction with a bridge burner, but if you do a lot of this outdoor, it may be better for your hands to get a proper griddle that doesn’t have open heat you have to deal with. To be clean, I love Made In products and have maybe 12+ pots and pans from them. I’m slowly replacing most of my other ms with theirs because the work so well on induction. ... show more

We use this steel griddle and grill press all the time! It is extremely durable and we have used in on our gas outdoor grill for smash burgers and inside on our gas stove for pancakes. It comes with a grill press as well. It is easy to clean. It is a bit heavy and keep in mind how large it is including the handles for storage purposes. I gave 4 stars simply because this griddle should only be used outdoors. Almost anything you cook on top of it will splatter onto any nearby surfaces. Also, you need to season this griddle before it becomes non-stick. The directions say it could be used right out of the box but I am letting you know it will not have a non-stick surface until you season it 1 or 2 more times. EVERYTHING STICKS - burgers, bacon, and eggs. It is hard to clean, doesn't fit well on my stove or in my oven, and doesn't heat evenly. It is so shallow that grease gets on the bottom of the pan. I was concerned about a grease fire. It is so not worth the price. Amazon, can I get a refund?

Made In can do no wrong. This carbon steel griddle is perfect on the grill outside or on your stovetop. I've used it a ton of times. Cleaning it is easy, and I much prefer this over the Blackstone I used to have. Looks to be a nicely made griddle. It is technically universal but it gets hotspots very very bad from coil style heating elements. I watched it with a FLIR Infrared camera and saw that right outside of the hot spot there was a 30 degree temperature difference. It would probably work really well on a gas stove. The weight of it was nice and I like the handles. Comes with a nice storage bag. Smaller than I was expecting for the price, guess I should of read the description a little closer. Definitely recommend to season it before use. It does come pre seasoned but it looks like it all burns off really really quick. Looks easy to clean ... show more
