Not sure what to think of this product, when I put it on the first time, I could swear the pain had gone away, it felt great for a while but from the second day onward the pain was back. I tried not using it for a while to see if after a while it would feel better again but it hasn't happened. Perhaps at the beginning it was just my mind wanting to believe that it worked.

I've been having sciatic issues due to a compressed nerve root. Im pending spine surgery. I decided to try this brace in the meantime. I have been using it when the calf pain starts and within a few minutes, the calf pain lessens. It is easy to put on and stays in place if sitting or occasionally walking around. My legs are on the smaller side so that may contribute to the brace sliding down while walking. The instructions could be more detailed as to where exactly the sciatic pressure point it. It has taken some trial and error to find just the right spot for me. Overall I recommend this product. It has been effective for me and the price is reasonable to give it a try.

Sciatica can be a very persistent, very painful condition that makes me want to not leave the house. It can even be exacerbated just sitting at my desk or on certain chairs or couches, depending on the support provided. Despite the fact that I might not want to get up or leave the house, that's not an option. I am not exaggerating here - in the short time I've had this strap, it has improved my quality of life. I've not only been able to walk around grocery stores easier, I've experienced much less pain when going to the gym. I attach this right under my knee, and the pressure point is on the back of my leg. I don't fully understand how it works other than pressure points, but it does work. What's more, when I DO wear it all day long or through a session at the gym, it doesn't become a sweaty mess. The material breathes, and can be worn for extended periods without discomfort. I would buy this at twice the price.
