I actually like these little cages. They are not sturdy enough to keep a determined predator out but I reinforce the outside with hardware cloth. You also need to stake it down as it is ver light and the wind can and will pick it up and move it. BUT, the cage is easy to assemble, cheaper than a large dog crate, and your chickens are contained. It’s less likely that sparrows will steal their food as the wire is too small for them to get they. (Unless they try the area at the door) I have one next to my greenhouse. I use it for a garden center and planted my garden inside to keep the rabbits out. I have a larger one farther out that holds some of my chickens. I like them. ... show more

I purchased this for my baby turkeys. Yes i know they will grow!!! this is the foundation of their roosting coop. the most important thing for a turkey is to love and feel protected in there roosting area so that when you let them out to free range they come back to roost. they are a little different than chickens. i will be building an enclosing part of the inside towards the upper back with perches inside the area. nesting box will be to one side along one side not under the roosting area.... feeding will be on the other side. my babies are used to the pen and come back to it eat evening. construction is in process ... show more

Cheap Chinese junk they have no quality control measures whatsoever for this particular run the connection points where all the polls lineup are tack welded and not welded completely around so all of the rain can just drain right into your poles. The tarp that came with it has defects within the woven plastic the steaks that they include is only half of the amount that you need for the entire thing, and they are only 5 inches long.. literally the worst thing about this is putting it all together taking three hours with two people hooking it up to my already established run and then finding those junk welds and then the only solution that Amazon had for this was to return the product. No partial refund no gift card to cover the chicken wire on my other one that I already ripped out because I connected two of mine together for the price that you pay for this there should be some Form of quality control ... show more

What they don't tell ya is how much of a pain it is to net the thing. Frame is stupid easy but the roll of chicken wire and cutting it all, it will always haunt my dreams. I traded the zip ties out for rebar wire and it's solid. Love that it comes with ground spikes and anchors. The latch/lock... I mean it works but I'm looking to upgrade it. Not bad for a $200 run and I was able to tie it into my existing coop ... show more
