When shopping for a cleaner for carpet and upholstery, I didn't want a big, bulky, complicated unit with a dozen pieces, I just desired a solid appliance that could do the job. When I saw this unit, it was placed on my order sheet right away and it has responded nicely to the task! Right out of the box, the pieces were ready to attach and go to work. One aspect I appreciate is that all of the pieces store together on the unit, not requiring an extra pouch of pieces that can get misplaced. The nozzle is compact, being a great size for addressing the issues of everyday messes that occur, but would not be the size I would need for a bigger job. However, most of the cleanup jobs I have don't involve big areas, giving this compact unit a lot of appeal. If you have occasional messes, wanting to get them cleaned up in a timely manner, this is serviceable unit you might want to consider. I'm glad that I did!

We have a full size push carpet cleaner for routine large area cleaning. But for the occasional spots that appear (because kids and dogs), it's a lot of effort to deal with the push cleaner. That's what I love about this compact unit. We keep it on a shelf within easy reach. Prep and cleanup is quick and easy. And it makes quick work on the task at hand - especially for stairs. Arrives nearly fully assembled and ready to go. Operation is straightforward. All-in-all, it's a great unit to add to our cleaning arsenal.

This removed a stain that had been in the carpet for months, but not ones that had been there for years, which is largely going to be down to the cleaning agent I used. Its basically a narrow vacuum with a long hose and it can spray the water/cleaner mixture from the handle at the press of a button. The suction area is very narrow, not sized for any debris. Plan on using a normal vacuum on your carpet first before going over it with this.

I got a friend who has a version of this made by Shark. They love the machine and find that with having young kids they end up using it a lot. My kids are grown, but I have a dog, so sort of the same thing. I purchased this spot cleaner with great hopes and it has not let me down so far. Now... I've only tried it a couple of times, but it's so nice that it is compact and easy to store... which means that it's also easy to get to when needed as opposed to the big carpet cleaner that take 20 minutes to assemble and 2 people to haul up the stairs. You aren't going to clean a room with this, but for small accidents on the carpet or a sofa, or even in your car, this is a nice and handy device.

My cat has been throwing up a lot and this has saved me from trying to scrub the carpet. It cleans well and really fast. The water absorption is strong and doesn’t leave it damp.
