I'm an intermediate player, been playing for 3 years and have only ever had one paddle. I was looking to get a new paddle that would elevate my game. I bought this Luzz paddle "sight unseen" after going down the rabbit hole, researching the Best Paddles of 2025. I found the Luzz Pro Cannon was rated the Best Overall Value paddle on two different YouTube channels, one saying it plays as good as $300 paddles. At $93, I decided I had to give it a try. Opening the box, I was surprised and how much grit the paddle surface has, thinking "this is going to be something entirely new to get used to." It's also lightweight and has a long, nicely cushioned handle. I've only played with it twice, but I am LOVING this paddle! I've never been one to attempt much spin, but the grit is allowing me to start to get the hang of applying spin to my shots. I'm also feeling more confident defending hard shots at the kitchen line. I highly recommend this paddle!

Easy transition from Joola Ben Johns paddle. It feels the same, except that I hit harder with the Luzz. I have had four of the Joolas. They wear out quickly. If this wears out, it's cheap to replace. Happy happy.

Core crushed within a month of play. Attempted to warranty the paddle and spent over two weeks going back and forth with Luzz. Apparently you cannot warranty the paddle when you buy it from Amazon. Amazon was kind enough to refund me my money. I had an awful experience with Luzz customer service. Also everyone I know who’s had the paddle ended up with it being core crushed within a month or two. Love the paddle, not a fan of the QC.

The Luzz Thermoformed Cannon paddle feels like it was made for players who want more pop without giving up too much control. The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels on contact. The thermoformed build gives it a sturdy, connected feel, especially when driving the ball or blocking hard shots at the kitchen. The T700 carbon fiber face is a big plus. It has that gritty friction surface that helps grab the ball better, which makes a difference on topspin drives, rolls, serves, and controlled drops. I like paddles that let me swing aggressively but still shape the ball, and this one gives a nice balance of power and spin. The weight feels well balanced. It has enough mass to help with power and stability, but it does not feel overly heavy or slow in the hand. I was still able to react quickly at the net, which matters a lot during faster exchanges. Durability also seems strong. It does not have that hollow or cheap feel some lower-priced paddles have, and the edge and face feel like they can handle regular play. This is a strong value for someone wanting a carbon fiber, thermoformed-style paddle with good spin, a stable feel, and enough power to be a real upgrade from a basic starter paddle.

I’ve been really impressed with the LUZZ Cannon paddle. It has a great balance of power and control, making it easy to put away shots while still feeling precise at the net. The paddle feels solid and well-built, with a comfortable grip that holds up during longer games. Sweet spot is forgiving, and it delivers plenty of pop without sacrificing touch. Excellent value for the performance, and it’s quickly become my go-to paddle.
