I got this for my mother in-law because she had foot surgy a few years ago and her feet get so swollen/sore all the time since then to the point where she can't even walk. This foot sauna has really done a great just of soothing, getting rid of the pain and bringing down the swelling. It's the best thing for her to be able to just sit put her feet in it and relax. Its very easy for her to use, with just a few buttons and she doesn't have to hide it when it's not in use because it's very clean looking with the redwood, it looks like just another piece of furniture. This is an interesting product for those that want to have the benefit of a hot foot bath without the water. Slide your feet in and start the machine. You can dial in how long you want to use it for and there is no always on function for safety. The default is 60 minutes at 60 degrees, and you can go up from there. For my skin type... I can't make the full 60 minutes as around the 30 to 45 minute mark, my legs and feet become dry and itchy. So it works well, but for me, too well. ... show more

I always suffer feom my feet.. They always feel sore and pressured.. I was so amazed when I first tried this. It gets hot gradually.. you won't feel the difference until you get on bed right after this.. You will feel some pressure off of your feet. I have used twice so far and nothing to complaing about. This LTCCDSS Infrared Therapy Foot Sauna Bucket, Muscle Pain Relief, Portable Foot Sauna Spa was exactly what it was and that was a portable sauna spot for your feet. It was really nice, especially with the red light therapy. The calf knee and feet are something that we need to pay more attention to and this stood out to me as something that needs to be put into perspective, especially for the holidays coming. I know my mother and I would benefit greatly from having one of these in our home to use. Not to mention the therapy that comes along with the red lighting was something that I wanted her to experience more and keep her longevity going. This LTCCDSS Infrared Therapy Bucket for feet is so cool! Never seen anything like this before so was excited to try it out, especially now that the colder weather near. Inside heated quickly and material is quite soft and comfortable. Really like the thermostat feature instead of having low/med/hi settings. Don't know much about infrared benefits per se, but the heat feels wonderful on feet and calves after a long day! Wood quality is beautiful! ... show more

I don't know if it's the placebo effect or if this magic UV sauna is really helping me get the blood flowing because I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. I've suffered with Achilles tendonitis for longer than I'd care to admit. I've tried everything you can imagine and more from cold socks, hot foot baths, calf wedges, shoe lifts, shoe inserts, etc etc etc. (exhausting, I know). This is the only thing I feel is taking me in the right direction of healing. It takes a few minutes to get up to temp especially if you are going to the higher temps. I'm doing about 40 minutes a day (not sure if daily is the way to go but so far so good). My only concern is that you might have issues if you have big feet because I wear a size 11 and I feel like my toes are pretty close to touching the sides so no bigfoots allowed I suppose. The footboard keeps you from feeling any sharp heat from touching the sides directly or the floor. It looks sharp in the wood (hemlock). I'm not sure I would pay the extra money for the red cedar aesthetic when they do the same function, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. 9/10 I would recommend it for you suffering foot problems. So this is interesting. I got this for my husband because he stays cold. His feet are always cold and I just wanted to get him something that he could use to help. I can't give specifics because it's still over 90 degrees here. I'm going to wait to tell about the heat. I can say it is pretty big. It does have a lot of wood and there wasn't really any assembly required. I just pulled it out the box. When he uses it I'll give an update. ... show more
