  • 4x4 LS swap
Fits great on my 4x4 square body LS swap. Only fitment issues where the TH350 bell housing ears (shaved them off) and the leaf spring bolts. Cut them shorter and flipped them the other way. I also the stock clam shell motor mounts with Amazon adapters. Will need to figure out how to run exhaust tho. Leaving this review for the guys doing a 4x4 ls swap and looking for header. Also these do seem like good quality checked the welds and they were good too. They do come with gaskets but you should Be buying the metal ones. Believe my frame is from a 78 square doesn’t have the cab mount cross member. ... show more

  • They fit K series trucks!!
Even though the decision doesn’t say they fit 4x4 Squarebody trucks, they do!! Have plenty of clearance for the shackles and the collectors land in a nice spot for the cross member. Had to trim off the passenger side trans ear, but easily done. Nice welds and nice finish. Buy these for your K10, K20 or K30, THEY WORK!!! ... show more

  • Good fit with minor modifications
headers were a tight fit but with mild trimming of the drivers side lower control arm mount and a 2 inch set back from the motor mounts the fitment was tight but sounded and performed excellent on my 89 Silverado short bed 2WD.

  • Fit 5.3 in square body Chevy.
The media could not be loaded. Fit great in the square body Chevy, had to take the top shackle bolt and run the bolt the other direction. Pretty close to the shift linkage with a th400 but can bend the shift linkage. Fit great. Welds look good, thick flanges. No complaints, wasnt sure bout them but the ... show more

  • Perfect fit for LS-swap Squarebody
Great headers, fit my ls swapped squarebody with 4l80e like a glove, clears the shift linkage and crossmember. O2 Sensors dont hit anything. Had to trim the passenger side ear of the 4l80e but thats needed for almost every header. Welds look fine too, but i ditched the cheap header gaskets that come with them and used some felpro ones. Does not include bolts, you will need to reuse your old ones. ... show more

  • “They fit well” comes with will and determination.
Installed these headers on the L33 Vortec power plant in my 1979 El Camino; 4X4. Its chassis came from a 1972 K20 and the front motor cross member has been replaced with a Pacific Coast LSX unit. I also have a 4L60 transmission. So yes… the headers fit. There were several outstanding unaddressed issues though. 1. The O2 Sensor bungs point directly at the transmission. Had to plug and relocate both. Had to make a 36” extension wire harness for the passenger side. 2. Had to modify the 4L60 shifter linkage be cause it was too close; see pic. 3. Oil pressure sending unit was too close to a header tube; wrapped the sensor; see pic. 4. Header stud bolts were pointless. I couldn’t navigate the headers past them. So what’s the point and all the hoopla. I cut 3/16 of threading off the OEM exhaust manifold bolts and stopped the “bottoming out” issue. The header gaskets weren’t designed for hanging in place either. I had a great fight with the passenger side. Very tight fit. 5. Rather than reversing the shackle bolts that create an interference issue, I cut the protruding threads off. Nuts are self-locking anyway. 6. The 90 degree cutoff / grinder wheel is your best friend. I DID find it necessary to shave a little off the left upper frame rail due to two tubes in intimate contact with it; 1/8” ... show more
