I bought one for me then this one for my Dad's girlfriend. Initially it's a flat unimpressive blanket. But throw it in the wash with fabric softener on delicate and the dryer on low and suddenly it's this super chinchilla soft fluffy blanket and it doesn't shed. the measurements are actually about 50"x62" so it's just a small throw but perfect to cuddle with in the car or wrap around your shoulders like a shawl. One of my fav blankets. No need for an electric one when this thing uses body heat trapped under it to warm you. I have to throw it off me mid sleep but when I cool down, I grab it back because it is that comfortable. I cover with it no matter the weather. It’s soo soft and such a pretty design but it sheds like CRAZZYYYY. I feel like the more I wash it, the more it’ll stop shedding so much but right now, it’s almost unusable because if you use it, whatever it touches will be covered in black fuzz. And when you wash it, it’ll be all in the washer and when you dry it, the lint trap will be fulllllll of black fuzzy lint. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it. Its a little bit lighter grey in person but super soft and comfortable. Im rather short at just barely 5ft so this thing can cover me from head to toe and wrap under my feet even. Its warm enough to use in winter around the house although not quite emergency warmth level
