  • Great product! Read through, better than it's rating shows!
When I first got this, I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now. Let me explain... I have two of these now. This one and another I got from Amazon of a different brand. This was the first purchase, the other more recent. When we put this together, it was quite easy to do and took no time at all really. The biggest complaint I have about this is that the latch for the door is a booger when you're inside wanting to latch/unlatch it. The wire is less stout than one might want but it isn't horrible and is easily comparable to others. That aside, I had no major complaints and it was just fine. Then, I decided I needed a second one of these and ordered another of a different brand with better reviews that could arrive sooner than this could. I went with that figuring the better rating/reviews were a bonus and arrival sooner was definitely the mitigating factor. That's where this one started to become epically awesome. I don't know why this doesn't get better rating than it does, but that other one was just awful. So here are the items that made me appreciate this one even more: The wire size. Ohhh lemme tell you! This alone should earn this one 5 stars on its own! The wire this one comes with is the proper width to go pole to pole and not have to jerry-rig the pieces together with zip-ties. This one; Twice over the top and bam, you're done! A single piece on the end, done! The other one? That was a way too narrow roll of wire that became such a nightmare that if I wasn't knee deep in build and in need of it I would have returned it. Included tools, etc: The gloves they provide are nice enough to protect your hands from the wire and abuse. Kudos! ANY tools you need, they provided- including snips to snip the wire with. Kudos! Anchors- the anchors provided are better than the potato nails the other came with. Kudos! Latch- yes, even the latch on this one, despite my complaints about it from the inside, is superior to the other one, which is weird. Door- the door build is also superior. All in all, I would buy this again with no hesitation. How the other one did better in ratings has me completely stumped. I recommend this one hands down! ... show more

  • Great for ducks
The frame was easy to put together. All in all took about 2 hours with 2 people. Some of the locks didn’t fit all the way into the pre drilled holes. Seems like a defect… if it wasn’t for that I’d give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I purchased this for my ducks who used to be exposed from the top so this helps keep hawks away. We also have an outer fence so wouldn’t think this would defend against bigger predators like fox…We also had 20-30 mile an hour winds last night and it held up great! ... show more

  • You have to cut the wire panels yourself
This works... it was fairly easy to put up but very time consuming, and somewhat tedious. took 3 adults all day to do it. It will keep adult chickens in, but it won't keep any determined preditors out. We live in the city and have multiple dogs, So it'll do for us. The latch on the door will blow open if the wind hits it just right, and there isn't a way to keep the door closed while inside, it swings both in and out (we got creative and use a bungee cord to secure the door). The tarp on the top is excellent but we wish it covered the whole thing. It is 4 feet at the low sides and 6 feet at the center. ... show more

  • Great run!
We bought this for our two small dogs as a temporary containment while were building, so they could be outside during the day, its very easy to assemble and is the perfect size. I plan on using this for my chickens once my house is built!

  • Deadly Flimsy. Does not Keep animals safe.
Day one: A small dog plowed right through fencing, with ease and killed pet rabbit. Small dog = little Westie This will keep birds and rabbit in but will not keep them safe from predators. Children are heart broken.

  • extremely flimsy not what you see.
We are newcomers to the chicken seen, so we dove in head first with some but not enough info. never the less, we will be replacing it with a real coop next year, bummer

  • Good for the price
This is fairly good quality. It is what it says it is. Does take an afternoon and 2 people to assemble, but isn't difficult. Latch quality is good. This has held up rather well. I wouldn't let snow accumulate on the covered roof portion, learned this the hard way.

  • This is cheap made in China metal framing
I really felt the need to reinforce this cheap metal framing on this chicken run. The chicken wire is insulated which is a bit nicer than galvanized chicken wire. It was easy to put together, it took my kids and I about one hour to assemble and ziptie the wire on. They do give you a very decent amount of zip ties. I would think about also using some metal wire to reinforce. My word is reinforce, you will definitely want to reinforce this run to strengthen it. Things like this take a beating outside all day, every day. Also, the latch on the door has unlocked itself once already we have to use a bungee to "lock" the door. Lastly, this chicken run won't hold a medium or large dog at all, maybe a small toy type dog. ... show more
