Description

Rod Desyne is pleased to introduce our double lock-seam curtain rod. This rod is designed to support rod pocket curtains or valances. Excellent quality and sturdy with a coating on the inside and out. Rod is baked in enamel with no exposed edges to prevent any snags in fabric. Single and triple lock seams also available.

I was a bit hesitant to buy curtain rods sight unseen, as quality can vary, but buying locally just isn't an option (mobility issues). So ... I read the reviews and took a chance. Very glad that I did. The curtain rods were shipped in a strong, sturdy tube. One rod was just very slightly twisted, but was easily straightened. (It was so slight, I did not notice til I went to put the curtains on.) These are good quality, sturdy, and other than the slight twisting, no defects or issues. I decided to order these double curtain rods because its price were affordable. Amazingly, these curtain rods truly does their jobs. The installation process was not too hard. We needed new curtain rods for my mothers house. I wanted to make sure to get a rod that had a double curtain since her bedroom is now on street level and wanted to give her sheers as well as a more private curtain. Very pleased with these. We bought one of the 48-84 and one of the 84-120. We did use the middle support bracket for the longer rod, however we opted not to use it on the shorter one. It felt sturdy enough that it would hold the curtains without needing it. These were very easy to install and I only needed a second person to make sure they were level and once the brackets were on to put the poles on. Would buy again! ... show more

Like with all things that are so much cheaper than others of its kind, I prepared myself for disappointment. Boy oh boy was I happily surprised. Great heavy duty rods! We have commercial grade black out drapes in our bedrooms and the rods we kept getting at the big box store the drapes would pull the rods down in the middle. Not with these!!! So glad we found these!

Highly recommend. I have a 63 inch wide and blackout curtains (heavy) at a length of 63 inches- 2 panels each window. Very sturdy - do not need the center support. I put bracket screws into plastic wall anchors and no problem holding brackets on wall. Plastic brackets did not come with item bought at local hardware store (called hollow screw wall anchors - cost about $1.50 for qty of 20. Highly recommend. ... show more
