Size: 2014-2023 Jeep Cherokee
These fit my 2018 Jeep Cherokee very well. The bars are expandable and only work with the raised side bars. Install was fairly simple, my only complaint is the Allen screws that are used to expand the bar are located on the under side, which makes it hard to tighten once they are on because it’s difficult to see where to insert the Allen wrench. The Allen tool the provided does not give enough clearance between the bar and the roof of the car, so I had to go dig out a smaller Allen wrench to fit in that gap. Not a huge deal, but was a minor frustration. They look good, there’s no issues at high speeds (shaking, sound, etc), and this option opens the door to more storage/rack possibilities. I mainly got this to go with my kayak rack. Excited to not have to Jimmy it if I need to tie down two kayaks. I also like that they are able to be locked down, making it more difficult for a thief (though probably not impossible, they’d have to be pretty brazen based on how much time it would take). Overall, I’m pleased with this item, but I am taking a star off for the Allen key design on the expandable portion, I feel like there could have been an easier/better solution, like using wing nuts instead or putting them in a different location. Though for the value, and perceived quality, I’d recommend this item. ... show more
