Our front lights were in desperate need of updating so we decided on these lights. We liked the way these lights looked and they had good reviews. These lights are not super bright but at 3000k they are bright enough for us. Installation was pretty straight forward. After removing our old lights, installation was pretty easy with the included hardware. After installing our lights to our front door entrance and garage, I used some silicon around the edges to keep the wire connections waterproof. These LED lights work great.     • A very nice light with one caveat

The light is perfect, I have it at my garage entrance under the eave replacing a more conventional "latern" type light. The advantage is that it nicely lights up the eave and the floor, and does NOT shine in your eyes making driving into the dark garage at night much easier. The caveat: This light has 2 "versions":, and American one (this one) that requires a recessed round typical lighting mounting box, and a "European" with a deeper mount that makes it easy to mount (more space for wire nuts) if you just have the wires coming out of the wall. I was able to mount this version using slim WAGO connectors without the mounting box, but it is not too easy.... Maybe both version should be offered, so both mounting options can be considered. ... show more
