I have been an avid resin user for just over six years. I have used a number of products that initially gave me good results, however, were not consistent project to project. I have waited a year to write this review of Shabebe so I could give it an honest review after using it on very large projects and small ones. I have ordered the 2 gallon kit four times now as I have not yet had one disappointment in my projects. I mix my resin, regardless of the amount, for 5 minutes always, therefore I have never had an under mixed pour. In winter I do pour my resin and hardener in separate cups and put it on my heating pad until both are at least 22C before combining and mixing. It is a nice resin to dome with as well. I let it cure to 35C before starting to dome on large projects and 40C for smaller projects . I can pour deep projects, pouring in layers and they turn out beautiful. All in all my favorite resin and the huge plus is that it is very reasonably priced on Amazon and often on sale

The "new" Shabebe 16oz Resin is an upgraded product from the 32oz formula. What a difference -- the new 16oz formula is pretty much bubble free and there is no hassel when pouring or waiting to set. I use it for small items that I create in my jewelry making. I have found the new Shabebe Epoxy Resin to be superior to other epoxy resins that I have tried which is why I highly recommend this "new" 16oz Shabebe Epoxy Resin.

This is what we started with and its really good, we did get a de bubbler machine, and it would be nice if it took abit konger to harden, because im a precise person and sometimes i need a little extra time when im putting a piece together and pooring, But the product is great.

This product won't really work for my needs, but that doesn't mean it's not a decent resin. The things I make and coat with resin are uneven, with raised lettering/pieces, and because the resin has low viscosity(basically runny when poured), it mostly doesn't stick to the raised parts, and runs off. Causing me to have to coat a couple times using this. Where with high viscosity(thicker) resins I have no problem. I'll just have to use this for other pieces with flat surfaces. That said, it mixes very well because it is low viscosity. What little bubbles you do create leaves very quickly as it sets in the cup or after pouring. There is very little smell from this at all. It has a longer open time for you to work with, which also means a longer time for it to set... Leading to a longer time until dust free. For me that's not good but for you that might be perfect. Those pumps are basically useless, not because they don't work, but because they only pump out the equivalent of a soap dispenser. You'd have to press about 25 times each just to get enough to fill half way(4oz) of the included measuring cups.[there's another pump on Amazon I use that does 1oz/30cc each pump]. And the cost is very low compared to every other brand, especially for buying 2 gallon. Again, it's not it not great for my purposes, but might be for yours. If your surface is flat or using mold, this is probably great If it is uneven (or you're doing tumblers as thet state it's not for), this isn't the brand for you.
