Got to say that these are fantastic lights. Not too bright, not to dim, just right. Purchased 8 total. Quality - excellent. fine fit and finish. Hasket on top and bottom make it truly water and insect tight. All were complete (no missing screws, etc). No loose fittings, wire was clipped to right length. Installation - easy peasy except for one minor issue. The backing plates that attack to your electric box are metric, and required a ting bit of drilling to mount. No big deal. Inclusion of wire nuts was nice. Conclusion - these are really excellent and would recommend highly. ... show more

I swapped out the included non-dimmable bulbs for dimmable ones and it looks awesome in my home theater. 3000k is a nice slightly yellow light that looks awesome in person. My camera makes it look more white. These light up the wall and walkway but doesn't spill over too much onto the movie screen. I've gotten several compliments on them. I dim them with a remote, insteon IR receiver and a switch. There isnt any humming at any brightness which is a plus. Dimming from off to on isn't uniform. ... show more

We were a bit worried about this purchase because of the price being rather reasonable, but thus far I love them! They project plenty of light up and down and I especially like the light stripe. They add a certain amount of class and a touch of modern to our house that wasn't there before. When we bought our first house, nothing and I mean nothing had been updated since it was originally built in 1988. The light fixtures on the outside of the house were ugly bronze antique looking light fixtures that were horribly weathered. I'm a big fan of modern looking things, while my fiance likes things that are a little bit more traditional. So I wanted to make sure I found lights that were somewhere in between, with a modern look that also wasn't overly modern. I bought these lights and I'm so glad I did! They look so great on the house, they're not that bright, but certainly bright enough. The color of the light is self is warmer than the cool white LED bulbs we put in the old fixtures. But what really makes these lights look great, in addition to their modern look, is the shape of the light they put out onto the house. It really makes a big difference in updating the curb appeal of our home. The only real issue, which was minor, was the fact that the mounting plate did not match up real well with a standard 2 1/2" - 3" in junction box. In fact, there was really no way to get two screws through the mounting plate and into the junction box. I was able to get around it by just sinking a screw into the siding somewhere else on the plate which did the trick just fine. The light fixtures themselves are very lightweight and so the junction box doesn't really need to support the weight of the fixtures too much. Other than that, I really love these lights and I had all four mounted on the house within 30 minutes. Overall a great purchase, I definitely recommend! ... show more

Very substantial not plastic and I really like the fact that they are weather and bug proof. Look very modern without being a statement. Easy to take out a bulb if they seem too bright or you just want up or down lighting. On my studio I took out the down bulb. I will be ordering another 4 for the back of the house!! ... show more
