Was very happy with these windows lights. I purchased two sets of these to cover the wall of a party room for a joint 70th and 30th birthday party for 100 happy years. The lights looked really good even though we only used them on the constant on setting. I was surprised how long the cord was between the plug and the controller - probably around 5-6', which is pretty useful when you are plugging into the floor and then hanging from the ceiling. I used the awesome CraZy TACKz 36tacks (Round & Clear)that enabled me to very easily hang the lights from the hooks. Well worth the cost that enabled me to quickly hang the lights up without worrying about them falling off. The lights were very tightly bundled together in the box. We tested that they worked by plugging them in before unwrapping them all a few days before the party and they both worked which was a relief. It took about 20-30 minutes to hang and unroll all of the lights (per set) so allow yourself plenty of time to position at your location - I used a low painters ladder similar to Werner AP-20 225-lbs-Load Capacity Work Platform to reduce the amount of times I had to climb up and down the ladder (and it was still a lot of times). The pack of lights was very tightly wound up in the box - do not be under the delusion you will *ever* get them back in the same box. I would advise finding the plug and testing that they work before removing the entire set from the box. Then unpack and lay on a long table and unroll the set but keep each stand rolled up for easier hanging on the wall. By unrolling on the table you can untangle the length pretty easily and get an idea of how wide the lights are.Put the lights up (with the recommended hooks from above) first and then unravel the strands one at a time. Note that each strand of lights is pretty tightly wound and took a while to unravel. I found the easiest way was to grab a side of the roll (imagine a skein of yarn) and twist in opposite directions. This allowed them to loosen up a bit and then you could start to unroll the strand.. Let them hang down and spin to unravel to their full length before moving onto the next strand and be careful if you do this over a window with blinds so that the lights don't get tangled up in the blind cord (hypothetically speaking of course!) I purchased two boxes and used the coupling feature to attach both sets together which reduced the reliance on finding plug sockets that match the spacing of the lights. The attached photo shows the two sets attached to each other and gives you an idea of how big the light sets are. We had many comments about how nice the room looked with the lights and the venue also wanted me to leave them up.

Love these strings lights! Cons: I really wish that they staggered the positioning of the lights instead of having them uniform in the same spot, and the outlet is so huge that I had to buy an outlet that had plugs on the side.. and I will say that I got frustrated when I took the lights out to lay and stretch it out because not all of my lights were bound up with a twist tie so it took some time to untangle and make sense of it all.. BUT THESE ARE GORGEOUS! They are a lovely cool white, no warmth or yellow whatsoever, and it completely elevates the room! We put it behind our headboard so now it casts a really romantic glow and just makes the whole room look clean and pretty. Great price too! So if you get theses, I suggest having a buddy with you to help make sense of the string and to assemble it.. so much easier if you’re super impatient like myself!!

We installed five sets of these in our two trees as part of our rather elaborate Christmas decorations. Can't count how many compliments we received (we live in a neighborhood that is Christmas light crazy and all of the light viewing tours). One of the trees overhangs the sidewalk, and the curtain lights were an obvious draw for kids (and some adults) to "twirl" within them. At first I was terrified that this would damage the lights and that I'd have to sit out on the lawn each night and yell at people to "get off my lawn!" Not necessarily the Christmas spirit! To my relief, these lights are incredibly well built, and the light bulbs are integrated into the plastic housing, so they're really durable. A few of the lower bulbs were stepped on and a couple were broken, but that didn't cause the strand to go dark. These make a stunning decoration, and my wife already has plans to decorate our son's upcoming wedding venue with the lights. I'm sure they'll be equally amazing for that purpose.

Great lights, they are very bright and work as intended. My complaints. Its a pain to unravel and the material they use for the cords to insulate or cover them is very sticky to itself. It causes tangles to easily occur on the unit and pulling it out kind of difficult. For a quick setup or one time deal its a issue i would deal with. but i would mark it down one star for this. This product i wish had more fuctions such as individual lights that "twinkle" like stars, or adjustments to how fast it cycles. That would be my only suggestion beyond the materials they used. For the price, and how much you get i would suggest it to a friend, and i would still buy it again without thinking. Its just not a perfect product, almost there though!

We were redoing my daughter's room and making a canopy bed ourselves when we thought it would be fun to add some lights to it. I am so glad that we chose these because they are absolutely perfect. They were long enough that we could go all the way around and even back. They even touched the ground at the highest point of the canopy which is actually pretty high in her room. These lights make her bed feel like you are in a princess fairy story book type place. They were also packaged very neatly so it made them very easy to put up. These lights are so dreamy and glamorous. They would be great for any big events such as a wedding or celebration parties. They are also perfect for adding that little extra magic to a bedroom.
