This steam comes with a good number of attachments and does produce a strong stream of steam, BUT, given the type of item this is, I was a bit concerned about the cheaply made components. I can't say for sure, but I am worried about the longevity of this steam given the make-up of the components. I was also not a huge fan of the inability to lock the steam nozzle in position. For me, this seemed like it could be a bit dangerous. I used the steamer for about a month trying to see if I could "wear it out," but at the time of this review, everything seemed to still be working. I used it to steam the stove and fridge, grout on my floors, and steam the duvet on my bed. It did a good job at everything except the grout cleaning because the steam nozzle movement just became too annoying. Would I buy this? No - The steam nozzle is just a deal breaker for me. Is it a good value for the price? Yes - If you are not bothered by the things I mentioned above.

I really was hoping to like this product, but it just did not meet expectations. When I first tried it out, the hose attatchment had the small metal piece fell out immediately. It would not stay in place. Amazon was great and sent a replacement, but it did the same exact thing. This caused it to leak water any time you use the hose, which pretty much makes that part useless. It is kind of clunky and awkward to use, because you have to keep holding the trigger and it gets tiring when trying to hold this full of water. I also was unable to get any wrinkles out of my curtains with the steam, but that could be because of the broken piece I described. The good... this heats up to temp CRAZY fast. It was only a minute or two before it was ready to steam. The other attatchments seem to be functional. I was able to easily clean some grease off my oven door, but it didn't work as well on the interior.

I have a large, roll about steam cleaner that I love. I love cleaning with steam instead of chemicals It cost several hundred dollars and does an excellent job, but….sometimes I have wished for something much smaller that would heat up quickly (instead of 17 minutes) and I could clean something small and have it over and done with by the time the big steamer heated up. When my husband saw this item he asked if I was interested and “yes” was the answer. I am happy to have this quick and easy steamer. There were not any instructions included-nothing. I looked on the listing page and gathered enough info to be able to take it on a test run. I couldn’t find info regarding what kind of water to use so I used distilled. You are only supposed to use about 8 ounces. The seller included a plastic measuring cup and funnel so filling is easy. There isn’t an on/off switch so when you plug it in that is “On”. It only takes a couple of minutes to heat up-maybe less. The light goes off when it is ready to use. You have to hold down the lever to make it steam and it produces a nice amount of of steam in the beginning. My thumb got tired holding it down. At first I was able to clean quite a bit but after a few minutes of constant steaming I started having to let it build the steam pressure back up. After a couple of minutes of doing that I needed to do something else so I unplugged the steamer and left it for a few hours. When I got ready to steam clean some more I decided to empty the steamer to see how much water I had left which was slightly less that 4 oz. So apparently when the tank gets half empty it just can’t keep steaming continuously so there is a short wait time and you get a few seconds of steaming and then you have to wait a few seconds for pressure. That part is annoying but I did steam and wipe down about 20 feet of countertops (that were already cleared off) and cleaned my sink before I got to the annoying part. So as long as your cleaning job is just a short period of time everything about this machine is pretty good. Alternatively you could also just break your cleaning up into spaced out intervals so that every time you start it up you have just filled the tank. I like this machine for what it is good at which is short interval cleaning. The ability it has to heat that 1 cup of water up quickly is so nice. My idea for a 3 star rating is that I deducted 1 star for NOT having ANY instructions included. Then I deducted another star for it only being able to continuously steam for half of its amount of water. It was annoying having to steam, wait, steam and wait some more.

I have a lot of tile and grout, and this steamers is advertised as intended “for Car, Home, Floor, Grout and Tile.” Unfortunately, I personally found it only marginally helpful to me. The steamer comes with a nice array of attachments to be connected to the front nozzle. The nozzle is on a ball joint, however, which I found to be problematic. For instance, if the brush is attached and any pressure is applied, the nozzle will move around in the socket. As far as I can tell, there is no way to lock the nozzle in place so that it does not roll around in the socket. I tested the product in a bathroom. I first attacked some moldy grout. It cleaned the grout a little, but I thought it might do better with the brush attachment. That was not particularly successful, as the nozzle rocked back and forth as I attempted to employ a light scrubbing motion. I tried to get around this by attaching the hose with the brush on the end. As soon as I activated the steam, the brass fitting from the hose was immediately spat onto the floor. This was not a confidence-inspiring event. I persevered but ultimately found the arrangement cumbersome, albeit a bit more effective than without the hose. I next tried the steamer on a dirty drain plug. It fared a little better there, but not so much that I’d be proud to invite a guest into that bathroom. So I grabbed some cleanser and hit it with a scrub sponge for 30 seconds. Rinse and voila! A clean drain plug! And therein lies the lesson: I’m sure this steam cleaner has some use somewhere around here, but I’m not sure it will ever take the place of good old-fashioned elbow grease. I’m also not sure I’m going to bother trying to figure out how to get that little brass fitting back in the hose.
