  • shipped quick, works very quickly. Highly suggested if you need a condensation pump
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
I recently installed a "plumbed-in" icemaker. This Icemaker requires a condensate pump to help remove the melted ice water. I selected a Little Giant pump--and it runs quickly (approx. 5 seconds--to lift all the water collected), makes very little noise and easily lifts the water to a utility sink drain (about 4ft). I am VERY impressed with the quality and the price was reasonable for the expected long life these units normally provide. If you are looking for a condensate pump--this is the best choice you can make. I highly recommend this pump. Small, works well--no maintenance ever needed. Plug it in and forget it. ... show more

  • Pump For Furnace and AC
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
This pump arrangement offers a turnkey solution to a problem I have been avoiding for years. Overall, it is a well thought out system which allows for easy installation, and the pump operates quietly and efficiently. For those who are contemplating the addition of a condensate pump system, I can offer these observations; I was shocked at how much moisture a relatively new furnace puts out. From looking at the drip line, I thought for years it was only a cupful a day. I was wrong. When you combine the amount given off by the furnace with the huge quantity produced in hot weather with high humidity by the air conditioner, you have a big moisture issue which can lead to mold and mildew, as well as attract insects and tree roots. Features: This pump is a self contained system which is simple to mount and operate. The internal float allows for automatic operation, and there is also an additional overflow switch which can be hooked to an alarm for overflow conditions. The top half rests on the mounted reservoir without the need for screws or latches. To mount, you simply position the bottom reservoir and drill 2 holes. The box must be relatively level for good float operation. As far as dislikes, one minor complaint would be capacity; had I been more aware of the amount of water the furnace put off, I might have searched for something a little larger, but the nice thing is that the compact size makes for convenient mounting. My biggest complaint is the quality of the reservoir, which is made from a type of plastic that I feel may be a bit brittle for this application. The mounting ears seem like the weak point, as they are built in to the brown reservoir. All of this might be academic except for the fact that the unit will require cleaning from time to time. This means popping the top portion away from the bottom, and likely flexing those little mounting ears each time. Overall, this is a neat, self-contained system that solves a problem at low cost and effort. ... show more

  • Works well
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
You may not think about it but these need to be replaced from time to time. Even if you clean and maintain them… they get guck in them. Great seller fast delivery. Happy buyer

  • Silent and reliable
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
Our french drain in the basement floor in our 25+ year old house had trouble keeping up on humid days, flooding our basement several times this year. I order the 80 GPH pump and 50ft of hose and routed it to the laundry room drain. The only criticism I have is that the 20ft of hose with the pump is way inadequate. The pump is very quiet. Installation took minutes. ... show more

  • Air conditioning sump pump
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
Great quality, easy to install and hook up. All you have to do is literally plug it in and rum ur discharge tube to either drain or outside. I use mine on indoor ac unit in basement. I do not have a drain in floor and pump it 20 feet outside. This machine has no problem doing so and has never failed me yet. Top pops off for essy cleaning, has great power, is generally quiet and holds a good amount of liquid before pumping which is great cause its not constantly turning on and off. Everything works off internal float. Install it and let it do its job. Good product ... show more

  • The obvious choice
Style: 115V with Safety Switch & Tubing
These are very dependable. However all neglected pumps will eventually fail and I struggled to figure out how to hook up an alarm. One solution is if you order the version with the high water float switch it comes wired NORMALLY OPEN but there is an additional internal lug on the switch to change it to NC which makes it pretty easy to wire to any sort of sump alarm if you don't mind splicing a couple wires. This maybe overkill for a condensate pump (would definitely not be overkill for black water) but mine is somewhat out of sight, out of mind so I feel better knowing there is a hard wired alarm. ... show more
