Pleasantly surprised. I live off grid in the desert full time. I got this inverter to replace a one sold by a discount tool company who's name involves ships and freight that quit working over less than a year. So far I'm loving this LiTime 3000W inverter. Here in the desert at Bombay each this thing is a must in order to run my air conditioning via solar. Despite what other reviewers say, the fan noise really isn't that bad. I have the inverter mounted in the front lower pass-thru storage compartment of my trailer. The fan only kicks on occasionally - even while running a 12,000 btu mini split in triple digit summer heat. At nighttime the fan almost never kicks it. It's WAY quieter than the HF one and my mini split is running great.

I've had it working for about a year and it is working well. The only issue has been the on/off switch. It does not work as it should. I have to press it on and off until it works. Usually I just leave it on and turn off the solar switch and the main shutoff switch. I'm not sure if this is okay but it works so far. Overall I'm satisfied with my 2000w inverter.

Excellent all in one device. AC/DC charger with UPS, MPPT and 3k inverter with 9k surge! All the fittings that came with it were decent quality. The solar input is up to 150 volts, great option to run three 400 watt panels in series or 4 panels in series parallel. I had to adjust my victron shunt a little to match the charge voltage to get it to work right, but after that, I have a great view of my batteries SOC and the output/input of the unit. It only uses 45 watts on standby, decent for the size of the unit.

UPDATE: Turns out, the battery monitor is completely useless, as it only responds to changes in voltage at around 12.2V or 12.1V, which in case of a lithium-ion battery does not work. Here is the updated response from customer service: "After carefully checking the details, the 2000W 12V inverter is compatible with both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Due to the difference in nominal voltage between these battery types, the SOC displayed on the inverter may not be reflecting the actual status. The SOC reading of the inverter's monitor should start to change when the battery's voltage is under about 12.2V or 12.1V, making the system may require a battery monitor with a shunt for more precise data. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I contacted LiTime customer service, describing that the integrated battery monitor in the inverter ALWAYS show 100% battery charge, even after I have used for several hours the battery to power appliances. Here is their answer: "Dear Peter, Thank you for sharing the detailed information. The inverter functions by converting battery power to run the AC load, and the voltage reading doesn’t impact the functionality of the inverter, please do not worry. This inverter is compatible with both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Due to the difference in nominal voltage between these battery types, the voltage displayed on the inverter may be slightly lower than the actual readings. For more accurate monitoring of the system's charging and discharging status, you may want to consider using a battery monitor. I hope this information proves helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us." SERIOUSLY???? Do they think this is helpful after they requested pictures of battery voltage taken with a multi-meter, the original invoice and a video showing the exact connections between the battery and the inverter???

Size: 24V 3000W Solar Inverter Charger
I am very satisfied with this Inverter Charger. I just put it to work yesterday for a Power Emergency system at my parent's house. I'm using this inverter charger with two LiFePO4 12V 100AH batteries to provide AC to the loads under power outages, which unfortunately are very common right now in my country (Ecuador). It worked flawlessly from the first minute. It provides clean, stable power to the loads. The switching time between the grid and the inverter is undetectable. What I like the most: It looks very solid, well finished. It's very easy to installa. It's very easy to configure. Its display is very friendly and shows the information with graphic icons, so easy to understand. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to develop a solution (RS485 to WiFi) so that the users can remotely monitor relevant values like the voltage and current levels of the battery bank, AC output current, etc. and generate some commands to the unit. I have received excellent support from the manufacturer . Thanks a lot Reni for your commitment!, she provided me with technical information about the communications protocol that the brand uses on the RS485 port, since I am considering to develop an app in order to remote monitoring and management of this unit. I'm planning to add a couple PV panels in the future. This inverter charger includes a charge controller that will ease this add-on. I recommend LiTime and this product to every person interested in this kind of application.
