Awesome compact mower for my tiny yard. I love that it is battery operated, it has a bag that is easily detached and cleaned out, and the BEST part is that I can fold the handles and fit the whole thing under a card table in my garage! I use it on the highest blade setting, but it can clip very short, too. I would take off half a star if I could because the battery takes an exceptionally long time to charge. But I charge it immediately after use so that it’s ready for the next mow. After two weeks, it has lost one “bar” of power but I can still mow my lawn in one setting. I’ve used it twice and will try to update review after a few more months.

First the "Good": It's lightweight and easy to maneuver on hills and steep slopes, if that's important to you. It's cheap. Now the bad: These batteries are absolutely Worthless. They drain in about 20 minutes and take several hours to recharge. I bought a second battery, hoping that the pair would allow me to complete my small yard in one session. Epic Fail. I still have to hurry to mow as much as I can and then plug the batteries back in and finish the rest of the yard later in the day - or the next day. And you don't want to wait until the grass is too high, because then the batteries will drain in half the time. I'm stuck with it so I'll be keeping it for the rest of this year, but I don't recommend. Spend a few more bucks and get something you won't have to replace.

I waited until i used the mower a few times, in differing conditions, before reviewing. We have an old house, located on a typical small city lot. I don't have a big yard to mow, so I bought this little guy. I have a push, reel mower made by Fiskers which I love. But, due to the constant rain that we get in this part of WV, and vigorous grass growth, the grass gets too high for the Fiskers to cut. I absolutely refuse to line the pockets of big oil to mow my lawn. Gas mowers are loud, they stink, and with gas prices as they are, why should I pay to mow my lawn? The lesser of two evils IMO, is to pay for the electricity to charge a battery. Since I have a small lawn, 35 x 100, a small mower is much better to mow around front yard ornamentation, so I chose the 13" mower. I looked at a huge number of cordless mowers before choosing this one. I only have the original battery at the moment, but will add a 2nd battery. It was easy to assemble out of the box. It only weighs ~ 25 pounds, so it's easy to lift. It has a small footprint for storage. The battery takes about 2 hours to recharge after its depleted. You can store a 2nd battery in the battery compartment, so if you need more power, it's at hand. The mower has a plastic blade, which I was unsure about when I saw it. But, it mows great!. The instructions were confusing about starting the mower. To Start you MUST do this, in this order: 1. Push and hold the button down. 2. Grab the throttle bar and hold it with the handle (just like a gas mower). It starts.a Once started, you can let go of the button. The mower stops immediately when you let go of the bar, just like a gas mower, but faster. The mowing path is 12", which is narrow. It's perfect for maneuverability in my little yard. My concern was the back yard. Some of the thick grass had grown to 24" high. I didn't think I'd be able to mow it, and expected to have to use a string trimmer. I've been waiting for it to dry out, but that's not happening. I have standing water in the back yard. But, we had a break in the rain, and the temp was in the mid 60's, so I mowed. We have an 88% chance of rain today. The mower worked like a champ! I pushed the handle, lifting the front of the mower over those thick, 24" patches of grass, and it chopped it all down; then I just mowed over these areas. I would have done the same thing if I had a gas mower. I've not used the bag attachment. The grass is being cut into small pieces. I wouldn't consider it "mulching", but they're small enough that I don't worry about the cut grass killing off the growing grass. I'm actually really shocked that this mower chopped that insanely high grass!. Being so light weight made it easier. I really love this little mower. It has around 60 minutes of mowing time, enough for me to do the entire yard, front and back. I highly recommend the mower.

Great little lightweight mower for smaller areas. So easy I mowed my neighbors. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this product because it is lightweight, cordless and can go into most small spaces.. The battery life allows two cuttings. Update: 07/17/25 I have mowed my lawn three times now, and during that mowing I had to use my second battery. It is a great idea to purchase an extra battery. There are two slots for the batteries, one for use and the other for storage. I love this little mower, it’s perfect for small lawns. 09/05/25 My mower will not make a sound. Will not START. I don’t know if it’s because it started to rain while mowing the last time I used it or not. It’s the end of the season, so I put it in storage. I will assess the problem in the spring.

This mower is a bit of a marvel. For the price, you get what you pay for, and maybe then some. Easy to put together. I assembled it in about 20 minutes after I figured out where they put 1/2 the assembly hardware. NOTE: some of the assembly hardware is stuffed in the little flip-up compartment on the front of the mower, where the battery goes. The battery arrived 75% charged. I was a bit surprised that the battery just uses a little USB:C cable to charge, thru small cell-phone charging blocks. It's a big battery to get a recharge from such a dinky power source. But, it works. Now to the rather mediocre overall rating.....if your grass is high, you're going to be going real slow to push this thing through it. The highest possible wheel setting raises the blade maybe 3 inches off the ground. I bought this little mower for a little job, trimming the grass in my lawn along the curb by the street. My zero turn squishes the grass down near the curb, and it doesn't spring back up in time for the zero turn to cut it. So I always had to go back with a weed whacker and imprecisely try to cut the grass down to desired height by that method. I thought this mower would be a quick and easy fix for my trimming task. It kind of is. With the mower raised to its highest setting, it wants to cut my 6" grass to 3". So, I have to kind of pull the mower up on its back wheels, and cut grass while performing a bit of a balancing act. I keep my lawn at 6" due to lack of rain here in the summer months. The longer the grass, the deeper the roots, and the deeper the roots, the better you lawn can get through the dry spells. This a snazzy, cute-looking piece of inexpensive machinery. Doesn't seem to have much in the way of metal. The grass catcher works well, but is small and fills quickly. I just used the mower this morning for about 6 minutes and lost 25% of the battery. If your mowing requirements are very very minimal, this mower might be for you. I'll limp along with this thing until it poops out, then get something a little better for my trimming purposes.

I am a 54 yr. old woman who is developing a permaculture "Food Forest" in every square inch of my 1/10 acre lot. Consequently I have small trees, shrubs, garden patches and berries every where I can squeeze them in. My yard is also a Certified Wildlife Habitat from the National Wildlife Federation. As such I have been actively decreasing the size of my lawn and by and large I only need this mower to mow paths through my garden and mow the 45 degree slope, yes, that's not a typo, between my neighbor and I and a 30 degree slope in the front of my house. Listen, that slope is a bear to mow. Like seriously, even professional lawn care companies (plural) have turned down the job. I'm short y'all, 5 foot nothing and I've been advised by my doctor to "take it easy", but I've got so many trees from seed and other plants popping up from seed I can't just trust anyone to mow my yard, because awesome plants get gifted to me by the squirels, birds, racoons and opossoms. I need to be able to dig those seedlings up and relocate them rather than allow my husband or anyone else to indiscriminately mow over precious gifts like paw paw trees! So for that reason I choose to maintain the lawn myself. This little machine is so, so light that I can push it up hill (the smaller 30 degree hill- still steep enough to lose your footing on) with one hand. A child could seriously use this motor. I can pick it up with one hand and cart it up and down stairs, which is what I did after we unboxed it inside the house. Now my husband took one look at it and sent me a picture with his shoe next to it for context, it's just a bit wider than his shoe is long and he's a size 9.5. It's the smallest mower I've ever seen, but it mowed the front lawn, the two slopes that are 12 x 10 and the side yard. Then I took it to the back and mowed some foot paths back there between plantings. Then I took it out to the alley and mowed the strip of lawn back there, so about 75 ft by 4 ft. When all was said and done I still had one bar of power on the battery. If you are a minimalist like me and especially if you are looking to have "living paths" in your garden then this little mower is fantastic. At 13" it's a great size for a walking path, two rows is more like the width of a state park trail. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE and highly recommend.

The first time it worked wonderfully I loved it, but the second and third time the battery overheats and does not last the charge even 10 minutes, you have to be a very short lawn because if you try to cut grass a little longer than normal you can’t and another detail with the battery takes 7 hours to charge completely and due to the overheating in the Compartment the battery is loose and each bump the battery comes off and turns off
