I find that I've collected enough rechargeable equipment that I wanted a "recharging center". I set it up in an old bookcase and it works great. However, there just isn't enough light to see the USB ports, cable ends, etc.. This under cabinet light seemed like a good solution --and it is. The limiting factor is that the connecting wires are only 7 inches, meaning that the lamp spacing is no more than 14 inches. This does not permit lighting multiple levels of a bookcase. I can also see potential issues with under cabinet lighting as well. Fortunately, it is fairly easy to slightly lengthen the connecting wires. I did this using a wire stripper, small crimp connectors, and a bit of small-gauge wire I had around the house (photo). If you do splice the wire, be absolutely certain that you retain the correct polarity. This is easy, since the wires carry a black stripe on one side. The final photo shows the lit recharging center. I can now see what I'm doing. One more of life's little irritations has been eliminated. The lights are bright, light in weight, and easily attached. Nice and bright, along with easy to install, just takes little time on your part. Everything they describe in the description works just like they say it does. Under my cabinets we’re got them is always dark under there and these light it up really well. Having the ability to have em come on with motion is a really nice and cost effect idea but I have cats and they do jump on my counter tops even though try very hard to keep em off it. So the lights were going off all the time. Was pleased to see I could also use these lights with out the motion and just turn them in and off when needed. Only thing wish was different was if had the ability to adjust the length between the lights. Sometimes I may needed a longer wire between the lights or a shorter one when going from cabinet to cabinet. Only reason didn’t use them in my shelves display. They were not long enough wires to reach from the one shelf to the one above it. Shame they aren’t set up like a string light were you can cut and reconnect them in places you needed easily. Mean I suppose you could splice your own wire in between these if you needed the space between the wires longer or shorter. Otherwise if your running these lights in a straight line under a kitchen counter. Then these are perfect for that. I’m happy with them so far ... show more

Comes with great instructions, however someone with everyday common sense could install these without instructions. These little and very narrow strips actually put out plenty of Bright and useful lighting. Mounted in the right areas are left totally out of sight when not in use.

My goodness how I needed lighting under my cabinets and these delivered! I've tried the battery powered ones and they just take too much effort to constantly recharge. These are powered by electrical outlet so have removed that barrier for me. They are very bright and super easy to install with included hardware.
