  • DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. I PURCHASED THIS ITEM ON 6/1/24. EARGO STATES THE LIFE OF THIS PRODUCT IS 3 YEARS. GUESS WHAT! IT LASTED ONE YEAR. CONTACTED SUPPORT WITH THE HOPE OF RECEIVING A NEW CHARGING BOX (NOT THE EAR PODS) AS IT WASN'T CHARGING ANY LONGER. I GOT NOTHING. THEY OFFERED ME A DISCOUNT ON A MORE EXPENSIVE UNIT. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS WERE NICE ENOUGH BUT OFFERED NOTHING. THIS COST ME OVER $800 DOLLARS AND i WAS 3 WEEKS OUT OF WARRANTY. AGAIN... DO NOT BUY! ... show more

  • They don't cost a million....
They are pretty comfortable to wear and work well for 7-8 hrs. Being able to charge the case for a couple days is nice too.

  • Product works well, but fit was an issue
The product was easy to set up and use, and inserting it is as simple as using any earbuds. The amplification was good-to-adequate (depending on the situation). Better results in a quiet room where the sound level is increased by the device than in crowded situations (like restaurants). Overall, I rate it higher than the Sony CRE-E10 or the Bose Lexie B2 (both of which I tried). I liked the device and thought they were good value for the price point. Unfortunately, I simply could not get them to stay in my ears securely. The fit was just not right, and I will be returning them. ... show more

  • Mixed experience
First time using a hearing aid and wanted to see if this worked before eventually upgrading to more expensive model. This works extremely well; everything sounds clear and crisp. They are a bit bulky and uncomfortable, but not surprising given their size and for the price, I was very happy with it. But one of them stopping holding a charge after a couple of weeks. Customer service was adequate but frustrating. They did send out a replacement, but only after repeated calls in which I was asked to clean an essentially new hearing aid. No follow-up so I had to keep calling, speaking to a different rep every time, and the reps are not authorized to make decisions or even send out a mailing label. ... show more

  • No cell adjustments. Its just a canned deal for those with little need for hearing aids.
Instructions didnt have anything to say. Called them like instructions said and they acted like they had no customer service.

  • Link by Eargo: Great Backup for Moderate Hearing Loss
My Background: As a Navy Hospital Corpsman and paramedic, years of loud noise exposure led me to moderate-to-severe hearing loss. I wear expensive, top-of-the-line hearing aids. Link by Eargo: While not powerful enough for my severe hearing loss, the Link by Eargo impressed me. These earbuds excel as a solution for those with mild to moderate hearing loss. Sound Quality: The Link boasts impressive sound quality. Compared to standard earbuds, they allow me to enjoy clearer audio at a much lower volume. Dual Functionality: The Link by Eargo offers two key things: * Hearing Aid Mode: Provides amplification for those who qualify. (For me, program 4 worked best.) * Listening Mode: Functions like high-quality earbuds for music, audiobooks, etc. Backup Benefit: If your primary hearing aids require service or you experience an unexpected issue, the Link by Eargo can serve as a reliable backup. Overall: While not a replacement for powerful hearing aids, the Link by Eargo offers several advantages: * Excellent sound quality at lower volumes (ideal for those with mild-moderate hearing loss) * Dual functionality: hearing aid mode and listening mode * Reliable backup option for those with primary hearing aids ... show more
